I know what you mean. It just took me 90 minutes to get them to increase my BT Cloud storage space to 50 GiB, which I should get for free being a BT Infinity customer. I spoke to 4 people.

I'm so sorry you guys have had a bad experience.
I am off poorly at the moment because I am having to see a cardiologist. I will let everyone on here know when I am back to work and if you need anything in the future you can always PM me guys. If I could have helped you, you know I would of.
One thing I would say is the wait has been extremely longer than normal because of the new channels. I have been speaking to my manager on a regular basis and there has been unprecedented demand for it, all the overtime they are offering isn't even resolving the long call queues. It will eventually die down. 90 minutes to get through is not the norm trust me.
Plus a little tip is ring first thing around 8-830 it's the quietest time of the day.
