boards.ie is in bed with sky ireland and does not want people to get sky tv cheaper with now tv
Yes, of course THAT would be the reason they banned you

Not the fact you make the same post over and over again and annoy everybody by doing so. It really couldn't be that.

As I've said, quit whilst you're only so far behind...

Your name makes no sense anymore. You should change it to PayTVKeith I reckon!

Of course no one really commented on the main points, it appears Eir are going to take many of Sky Ireland's broadband customer in the immediate future through this 'free eir sport' offer

Sky Ireland will have to offer something to counter Eir's free eir sport offer

Some people don't really read full points in forums.

I am saving more money with less pay tv costs.

To a degree I've given you the benefit of the doubt in the past but now you are definitely trolling.

This probably warrants a separate thread as it's less about the BT Sport channels and more about broadband-TV packages in Ireland. That's possibly why people are not commenting on your observations.

Noticing that bt are showing ufc fight night live on Thursday morning. Mcdonald v lineker and also the prelims. The ufc app says prelims live but not the main card. Bt youview has the main card live on guide.

It looks like bt have a new contract? Why is there no announcement

Next event after that is fight night holms v Shevchenko, july 23, but app is saying blackout. Next is ufc 201 and 202 and they are still saying bt sport 2.
You do realise that BT will be showing any event in July as per their contract!

Was supposed to have been announced, but as im sure most saw in the news today, UFC was acquired by WME | AMG and so was postponed, as has 6 other TV contracts, not just the UK!

So that would mean UFC 202 would be the first card of the new contract?

If so I see Sky wanting that as they are obsessed with Conor McGregor.

Do you know if the contracts were actually signed or could the rights be up again now new owners are in place?

Signed, sealed and legal.
If new owners want to change it, they will have to buy the contract out

Bt didn't normally show any fight nights, just main events, unless I missed that over the last couple of years? They have shown the last fight night and now the next. If bt are seeing out the end of there contract, then why buy/show fight nights?

What part of august did there current contract run out, 1st or 31st, anyone know?

Thought there contract runs out July 31st but when you look on UFC app it's still shows UFC 202 on August 20th as on BT sport 2

On August 4th, BT Europe is to be renamed BT Sport 3 and BT Sports Ultra HD will become BT Sport 4K UHD. The EPG numbers on Sky and BT TV will be changing.

They're calling renaming, but I would expect it to be more a case of "replacing".

The reshuffle will presumably put the channels in 1,2,3 order (even if spread out). I'd also expect the main Champions League game on each match day to be on BTS2, with the secondary game on BTS3.

Anyone else think BT Sports summer offerings are pretty bare compared to Sky's Sports coverage?

So for the second season in a row a sports broadcaster realises that designating a channel the home of European football is not as good an idea as it sounds...

So they're naming it what it was supposed to have been called before some brainbox decided to call it 'Europe'
I wonder why rename the BT Sport UHD channel though? I wonder if this is because its going to get wider distribution than just BT TV!?

My guess is it's because TVs are marketed and sold as being "4k".
