Sure I read somewhere (along with mentioning the Chinsese Super League) that BT Sport may *ponder* getting the Turkish Super Lig, now that the international rights are no longer with MP & Silva.”

I mentioned on the Premier Sports thread that the CSL would be a good acquisition for them but with their coverage of the NRL in the morning at the weekend that might not work so well for them on reflection. Perhaps BT would be the logical location for it in the UK as they have the bandwidth to carry the league.
The Turkish Superlig is a different kettle altogether - if you look at liveonsat.com during the season the only coverage is via Turkish channels. It seems utterly extraordinary that German, Dutch, Belgian sports channels wouldn't be absolutely falling over themselves to acquire the rights. However I read in Voetbal International a few years ago, a Dutch magazine, that there is a deliberate ploy not to sell the rights internationally. It used to be pretty easy to acquire Turkish TV through a company in Leeds here in the UK and I think Digiturk and Lig TV do a pretty good business selling intl subs to Turkish ex-pats. Therefore suppressing the rights sales to German or Benelux territories would make sense
I don't know, this is total speculation, but it could be that this is because Turkey is outside the EU so isn't subject to the same rules on buying in TV destined for another EU country
