The score graphics are measured in inches mate
Mark.

No they don't.

Do you genuinely not understand that the absolute (i.e. cm/inch) size of the score bar changes relative to the size of the screen?

As per the header on the following website: http://sport.bt.com/football/tv-list...cid=con_FHPTAB it looks like BT have dropped their coverage of the leagues in Portugal and Switzerland.

I'd figured Switzerland as no games had featured from the first three weeks of the season and furthermore on Wednesday is Basel-Young Boys a meeting of two of the top sides and this isn't on either.

A little surprised regarding the Liga NOS as that was a decent watch last season with the title going to the wire. Hopefully someone else can pick up these leagues but not holding my breath if indeed BT have elected not to renew their coverage...

BT Sport's main european live games are niche. I watch more live european games on BT sport than from england

Games from portugal and switzerland are more niche and they are hardly watched

Of the European Leagues shown on BT Sport, only the Bundesliga and Serie A are worth watching. The rest are very poor especially the Portuguese League and I do include the French League also.

We even get the Bundesliga II as well, so BT Sport is doing a good service. Love the Sunday European Football Show with James Richardson along side his three amigos.

In honesty, their Champions League coverage has been good but should have allowed some games for ITV etc. Doesn't matter who the commentators or pundits are, we do get treated to a good show for two otherwise tedious competitions. The group stages are most boring periods and UEFA need to sort it out.

To all Sky loving subscribers. Please don't knock BT Sport, with its predecessors Setanta & EPSN, it is a worthy alternative to Sky Sports than Eurosport ever will be.

Surely the bigger problem with BT's graphics is not the DOG but the continued use of that wretched information L-bar on BT Sport3.

Yes I know that on BT and Sky you can press a red button but that option's not on Virgin Media and it switches the picture to SD anyway.

I'd love to watch reruns of matches I'd missed but I stopped watching all but live matches on BT Sport Europe after I settled down to watch some Bundesliga reruns only to have all of their results moronically flashed on the screen!

I find BT excellent in so many ways so I am baffled at this continuing stupidity.

I don't give a damn about the length of the clock team score team or whatever you call it or the size and colours of BT's or Sky's logo. These people posting opinions on the uninteresting aspects on these channels need to get a life.

All I care about is the quality of BT Sport's coverage of sport which I believe is excellent in comparison with Sky Sports.

I expect some more meaningful posts regarding this topic other the size of a stupid clock in the bottom left corner of our screens.

Personally one of my gripes with BT is the lack of repeats or rather the random nature of them. Some games get about 4 or 5 airings over the following days whereas others don't seem to get featured at all. The 90-minute highlights can be a bit frustrating too as that means only 72 or so minutes worth of the game once you take away pre- and post amble and adverts at a point in the 1st and 2nd halves plus at half-time.

BT score more highly than Setanta or ESPN for the overall packaging of the matches with the studio coverage and the commentators tend to be a bit more high profile than what was previously the case. But (and shoot me for this) as a niche consumer of the sport (apparently ) I did like the fact that Setanta would do full repeats of nearly all the matches they showed as live. It just gave me more options as to what to view so that worked a lot better for me.

Wonder why BT are using Martin Tyler commentary in their "weekend picks" advert? Only a couple of seconds of it, but still. Surprised they're even allowed to, never mind would want to use the commentary of their main competitor.

I noticed that myself, the part where he screamed 'YEESS' after a Manc scored against Liverpool.
If it was used on the PL worldfeed or included in the PL Review show that the PL make, BT can use the audio from it

If it's Martial's debut goat at Old Trafford, then it 100% was Tyler for Sky.

However, as our resident sailor man says, if it was used in official PL programming, BT are within their rights to use it.

It's surprising that they have, though.

That's the kind of reaction I would expect from a toddler going through the 'terrible twos' or a snarky, moody teenager.

Programme averages:
Man City v Sunderland - 515k
Hull v Leicester - 476k
Bournemouth v Man United - 878k
Arsenal v Liverpool - 1207k

A little low across BT and Sky. Expected United game to eclipse a million with it being Jose's bow in the PL as United boss and Ars-Liv a little low considering the spectacle and size of teams on show.
I guess we can put this down to the clash with the Olympics which is free to watch on the BBC.
