I'm watching in standard definition on Youview as for some reason the sound has gone on the HD channels. Anyone else got this problem? I've had no problems previously.

Owen doesn't think Liverpool are a threat from set pieces.

They score from a free kick (offside) and hit bar from a corner. Genius.

Hating the camera cut away box in the corner. Pointless.

I've seen worse presentation and worse commentary teams "Jim "I Think" Beglin" is the worst.

I think the logo will eventually move as people complain it's covering part of the pitch but just think on Fox Sports they narrow the screen to show ads so in a way we are lucky with what we have.

So.... any comments about the Ray Winstone interlude????
Definitely less jarring than a full ad break. Still feels odd though.

They have done this on channel 4 racing for a long time.

Not liking the box appearing as often as it does, for no real reason. Right, off to the match

If it's an HD channel it will broadcast DD by default. Is it DD2.0 or DD5.1 though?

BT haven't put DD (indicating DD5.1) on the Sky EPG.
It's definitely 5.1 on sky. but the vast majority of the sound including the commentators are coming out the left and right speakers, not the Center.

There is a little atmosphere coming from the others but it's hard to tell without going upto them.

Picture looks as good as the conditions will allow, it would probably really pop if the weather was brighter.

Are BT Sport doing a Soccer Saturday at 3pm or is it a different type of show?

Sky don't have that problem with overloading on their App or online during Premier League matches.

Do you mean on a PC or through the app?

The PC stream is a long way from HD for me.

Edit:- it's in HD now, must have needed time to warm up!
It seems to be the PC stream start off in LD while it negotiates its way up to the highest quality the connection and PC can handle. Anyone in the know able to confirm this supposition?

They need to stop the bottom corner stuff everytime someone is mentioned. If Owen talks about the ref I don't need to see him in the corner of the screen running around, it's irritating.

It smacks of just trying to be different and there is absolutely no need for it. Just show the game, have good commentators and let the game be the attraction, not some over zealous director trying to be different.

Hi, I am a Sky+HD customer with 2 box multiroom package. I rang BT Sports 0800-800-801 yesterday to upgrade my subscription and take their HD option. I was advised that it would be £15 per month with a one-off £15 set-up fee. I assumed (silly me !) that the BT Sports package would be viewable on both my Sky boxes. I told the BT Sports rep that I had a Sky multi-room package but I was not told that the subscription was just for the main Sky box. It was only when I actually thought to ask the pertinent question (when I was finalizing the deal) that I was told multi-room was not possible. That information was not volunteered by the BT rep. At that point my interest in a BT Sports subscription waned (with Sky at least).

I wonder how many SKY multi-room customers, having paid the activation fee etc, are in for some major upset. Naive old me was very nearly one of them! (I should visit this sub-forum more often.)

Too much use of the in picture box.
So far commentary has been ok, Owen is a little biased
Is this Owen's first ever commentary?

Well I've never had the problem since I've been with Sky and that's been since Sky broadcast online.

Well I've had no issues with BT streaming, but my individual experience doesn't necessarily represent that of every other customer.

It's not the most interesting of games for BT to start with I don't think Sky will be too bothered.

Watched the pre show and now watching the match on the app on IPad via wifi and the stream has been faultless.
Sky go via wifi for me has been mostly faultless for me too over the years, just a few dropouts that I can remember.
I would say though that the BT sport app stream quality is of a very high quality

The vast majority of Multiroom subscribers aren't taking BT Sport. They all do however have two extra devices for Sky Go and are able to download content to watch when they have no internet. That costs £5 per month for non Multiroom subscribers.
Sky Go is free on 2 devices that are connected to the internet for all Sky TV subscribers.

Your smartphone has mobile internet and is not reliant on a signal from the sky wifi router to watch Sky Go. The wifi route is supposed to improve reception on your smartphone and save a lot of your precious mobile data.

Google suggests its a surround sound problem. Switching the box to stereo output, or curiously turning on audio description sorts it, but long term its going to be annoying having to keep switching.

As good as when he suggested Sturridge could be important for England because we are short of centre halves?
