That's a very fair point, Derek. I had forgotten that bonus.

So come on BT it is all your fault we do not have a multiroom
option....

Seriously, Radiomike, I was arguing generally not personally (I note someone after me has expressed annoyance at the lack of multiroom as well). My anger with BT is real and I will not be renewing via them after what they did,

But watching on line is okay as a substitute (only 23 seconds behind today and they are at least using the HD feed).

Plus I have found another way to watch BT Sports in HD on our main box without waiting for Sky or BT to talk to each other. Would never have bothered if they had got their acts together and not gone to war at the expense of the viewer,

But that's what happens when you do not put the customer first. You drive them towards other means and some of those who find them (not us) will probably decide to bypass Sky and BT altogether.

Olympic Games. Not Opening Ceremony. Were any events in 3D? After all, 350,000 is more than likely a reach figures.

Everyday, all day, there was live 3D. Swimming, diving, equestrian, track and field etc. etc.

Quote:
“Eurosport, the pan-European broadcaster of the London 2012 Olympics, will broadcast more than 100 hours of 3D action over the course of this summer’s Games. And, to ensure that British viewers can enjoy a truly immersive Olympics experience, Eurosport will showcase the action on Sky 3D, the UK’s first and only dedicated 3D TV channel.”

I rather like the idea of a ref's viewpoint on certain aspects .

He's not commentating , after all .

What on earth possessed BT to choose a theme tune for their PL coverage as flimsy and weedy as that version of 'Come Together'?

This overuse of the inset box really is getting tiresome now.

BT Sport is very reliant on advertising, never seen so many packed in.
We are not getting much of a half time show then.

David James alongside Ray, hilarious.

I told the BT Sports rep that I had a Sky multi-room package but I was not told that the subscription was just for the main Sky box. It was only when I actually thought to ask the pertinent question (when I was finalizing the deal) that I was told multi-room was not possible. That information was not volunteered by the BT rep. At that point my interest in a BT Sports subscription waned (with Sky at least).

I wonder how many SKY multi-room customers, having paid the activation fee etc, are in for some major upset. Naive old me was very nearly one of them! (I should visit this sub-forum more often.) ”

No problems here . We have BT Infinity broadband some get the two BT Sport channels in HD for FREE. .

Couldn't be happier with the HD quality picture , sound is fine also .

Flicked to BT2. Saw the red card but really don't like the red card graphic above Aberdeen on the score bar.

Looks daft

Seems that BT are simply trying too hard to be different.

As you're only giving BT one viewing card number......

Why do they keep showing the ref in the inset picture? Zzzzz.

So it is a reach figure there - meaning therefore BARB's 'one man and his dog' average for each programme is probably accurate.

To justify Halsey I guess. They must be hoping for some goal line technology use

And there we go.

No controversy but we'll show you how it might work.

Interesting that Hawkeye uses the PL corporate graphics and not broadcaster specific

Absolutely, as the majority were no doubt watching on a non BARB reported channel.

Point being, when the BBC announced they were stopping 3D, they quoted among others, the Queen's Christmas message for poor viewing figures. But it was a Sky production on Sky 3D, so no doubt most who watched, would have watched on the heavily promoted non-BARB reported Sky 3D and not the BBC HD simulcast.

Anyway, vastly off topic.

I've been reading the BT Forums, and there are alot of BT Sport customers not been able to log into the BT Sport App on an IPad or online generally on a computer.

Hi, aren't you the lucky one.
Unfortunately my only Broadband option is Virgin fibre;( which is excellent by the way.)

You heard it here first: "Charlie Adam best passer in the Premier League" Michael Owen.

Every game I've heard him commentate he's been awful.

Well I like the score bar where it is at the bottom it looks good and don't get in the way of the game. when watching sky with the graphics up top it looks untidy. The red card on screen is what ESPN done I like that idea too lol. Guess its down to own tastes.
