The app is going to have an ondemand facility soon as will the website once you log in with your BTID and password. Just bear with them.
Thanks for that I watch a bit of tennis and would need the on demand as I don't want to be up all through the night watching it

Do BTS have the rights to show highlights from all PL games (e.g. like MOTD), or just from their own live games? I'd assumed they'd have it all, for weekly roundups etc?
They are allowed to show a maximum of 60 seconds of any game they don't show live, except if the game has more than 6 goals, when they are allowed to show 10 seconds per goal.

From a quick look at Twitter BT's Scottish football coverage seems to be getting a lot of positive reviews so far.

I'm English but enjoy Scottish football. Have to say I'm liking the build up and Warnock makes me laugh I have always liked him. All the pundits are good so enjoying the pre show.

Yes, so much like Setanta and ESPN they'll be able to use them in preview and review shows, and if they have any Sunday or midweek matches they'll be able to include them in the build-up with the pundits talking over them. But no proper highlights shows.

Think they're allowed to show them from midnight, aren't they?

They've stated that Darren Fletcher will show the goals/highlights in Monday's BT Sport Live

Yes, like Setanta used to do on Macca's Monday Night, and ESPN when they had Monday night games. And likewise Sky could show the goals from ESPN games on Monday Night Football.

I don't mind the score dog on the bottom as I don't notice it that much while watching the game. When sky did it the scorebar was much bigger and looked tertible. This one is not too bad. Great commentry team aswell.

So bloody invasive there.
They got a huge number of tweets and facebook comments about it and i know they've had complaints about it too.
Trying to watch the SPFL now and its pissing me off.
I don't usually get irate about a logo onscreen, but where BT have theirs, has got me.

I prefer the score bar at the bottom.

I think this coverage has been excellent so far, The picture quality on last night's rugby was the best I have seen on any HD sports channel.

It'll definitely take a bit of getting used to if they keep the logo and score there. Much better than Sky's effort though, theirs was a bar that took up the entire bottom of the screen from what I remember.

Nope, this is what it looked like.

Obviously this was when graphics were 4:3 positioned.

Exactly. The scorebar and logo have not got in the way of the game once. I guess there will be a lot of haters as well as likers but its up to BT whether they decide to change it. I think its fine.

I like the huge BT globe logo that swooshes on the screen at replays and ad bumpers.

I think you naturally blur out the top of screen so is more in the way at the bottom personally

Having huge problems with the BT Sports App.
Cannot log in - not recognising username - fails to resend new password.

Must have been on the phone for about 2 hours today - and still not had any satisfactory help.

Thinking of unsubscribing - very unimpressed.

I've got a feeling that if the BT score bar blocked out all the key action you'd think it was great.

I was watching last night and although the HD quality was good it wasn't particularly better or worse than many things I have seen on Sky Sports, Eurosport or ESPN in HD.

At the end of the day content is king and the key test will be how BT Sport fairs in that regard particularly bearing in mind that, in key football terms, its schedule is essentially built around one live match each Saturday lunchtime and limited highlights rights whereas Sky have 3 EPL games they can spread across Sat/Sun/Mon plus extended coverage of other games through Football First plus 2 or 3 live Football league games as well each weekend plus Champions League midweek plus Soccer Saturday etc.

Sky is miles ahead on content and all the fancy studios and big name presenters and pundits in the world can't negate that fact. It will be interesting to see how things are once all the initial hoopla dies down.

BT also have Sunday games that they have yet to announce, so BT still do have some tricks up their sleeve.

I wonder how that happened. Perhaps it is because they have been going for 23 years as opposed to BT's 24 hours.

BT have plenty of decent content. Don't forget they have retained the FA Cup rights and still have Europa League.

They will probably do their best to get CL too.

Give them a chance. It could take many years for them to be they force they are aiming to be.
