What next? Premier League interviews with idle goalkeepers or centre halves during matches? Now that really would be game-changing!”

Convention of the IPL coverage as well.

No ESPN have shown T20 cricket from the Caribbean for the last two summers.

Yes, this really isn't new.

As far as I can tell, the only reason for annoyance is not being used to it.

On the other hand, I can understand people wanting the DOG to be translucent because this is clearly preferable and a lot of channels, including Sky Sports, do this.”

I could get used to it if it was not a solid black lump but has some opacity to it.
But the fact its solid black, and the background being green (The pitch) you can't help but see it and because alot of the action is in the bottom half of the screen, it gets your attention.
It needs moving and quickly. I don't care how different BT want to be, trying to play around with something that is a standard for sport broadcasting around the world, just no..

Well BT apparently want access to changing rooms. They are prepared to innovate.

I would like to see ref cam in football so that we can see the ref's view of decisions.

Shame the AFL is not in HD. I assume it's a lack of HD world feed as virtually everything else shown is now HD.

Have just been watching the cricket on the internet stream in Firefox, for the first time. I've been unable to connect to it in Windows 8 so decided to reboot into Windows XP and bingo! Success! No idea what the W8 problem is though, the error number isn't mentioned in the BT Help FAQs.

Anyway, I am impressed. The average bitrate is 3.7 Mbps in full screen mode (2.5 in a window) and the picture quality is excellent for a unicast stream - very much better than SD quality and definitely some kind of HD. Well done on that, BT.

Curiously, the windowed bitrate has been dropping as low as 500kbps during the ad breaks!

I have bt sport channel via my sky box , I have sky broadband , which by the way I pay half price for 12 months from June 13 till June 14 as sky wanted me to stay with them , can I use the bt app or do you have to have bt broadband to be able to use there app .

On sky go I havnt checked yet but can you watch bt sport via sky go ?

Plus I think I have read this isn't it true bt sport is only on one sky plus box not on multi room boxes like espn was ?

I noticed this morning for the cricket the BT Sport 1 logo had moved to the top of the screen, so at least we know they'll move it depending on the event once they realise it's in the wrong place / get enough feedback.

If you haven't already, set up your online bill on http://www.bt.com/appsyouraccount/pu...=con_FURL_mybt , then you can login with your BT ID and use the app/online player. Sky Go doesn't have access to BT Sport. You do not need BT Broadband to use the app, Sky customers who are paying monthly get access to it as well. Multiroom is not available with BT Sport, hopefully this will get resolved soon. It must have something to do with BT choosing to sell the channels themselves, instead of Sky selling them on BT's behalf.

Watching BT sport panel its good. My only niggle I wish the cameras would stop moving though it's doing my head in. Also BT sport 1HD is still much quieter than 2 which is annoying hope they sort that.

From what i can see you cannot get BT Sport in HD on the Sky platform if you stick with Sky Fibre and don't move to BT Infinity? Can anyone confirm this?

£3 a month extra for HD if not a BT BB subscriber.

The signal is broadcast via satellite so the BB speed is irrelevant.

That's because AFL is not yet broadcast in HD (at least not on Channel Seven, who share the rights with Foxtel) while the NRL is, which hasn't gone down well with Melbourne.

I watch on AFL TV myself.

1. If you ordered before 1 August, advised BT you had a Sky HD box and are paying £12pm you will get the channels in HD.
2. If you ordered on or after 1 August and are paying £15pm you will get the channels in HD.
