He's a liar, newgirl55. From now on he shall be known as Billy Bullshit.

Pathological liars usually do make things up. So yes.

If he lied about having sex with 200 women, do you think he lied about saving 19 people's lives?

I dont know if I would call him a liar really, he is more of a fantasist, he has a very vivid imagination and he is obviously very sensitive, I used to find him really irritating and odd, now I feel quite sorry for him and I hope he is evicted tommorow for his own peace of mind.

Just when I thought he couldn't get more sinister.

I'm not ready to write him off as an out and our liar just yet. Stuff with Dexter doesn't sit well with me. I think he has been antagonising Callum and, boy, does he know it! Trouble is I think Callum over eggs the pudding, milks it and exaggerates to garner sympathy. That's not a great quality but it doesn't take away from the fact that Dexter's behaviour is just not normal either. People are quick to excuse his behaviour as he's seen as a panto villain. But he's not. He's an adult. It's not normal, or pleasant, for a normal adult to get their kicks from goading someone like that and generally being a stirring little gobshite.

As Detective Dan, who was right about pretty much everything said, Callum's in full martyr/victim mode.

I thought he was lying about the no of lives he had saved on the 1st night. He has blown what could have been a great gameplan but being unable to suppress his real self hiding behind mr nice guy has shown us his motives. Ive watched the way he grooms ppl and then controls them...or tries to
OMG did you see him in the kitchen tonight with the knife?

Excellent post. This is how I feel but couldn't quite articulate it. Thanks for saving me the bother of having to think.

Callum is so many things and yes Dan was spot on, he definitely plays the martyr/victim.

It would have been the worst swimming pool in the World if a lifeguard had to save 19 people.

My friend was one for 2 years and the closest she got to importance was blowing her whistle at kids messing around.

From reading his profile he has got a huge sense of self importance, people like that are very much driven by their ego. That is what is causing his downfall.

But it could also read as bravado and BS from someone with extremely low self-esteem and fragile ego. People who are a bit lost don't know who to be so make stuff up they think sounds impressive. That would also fit with the way Callum talks - it's unnatural, riddled with cliches and sounds like self-promotion.

Not saying you're wrong, just that it could be either or, and tbh none of us know enough to be able to call it for sure.
