I don't think I slated him much on here at all, didn't particularly move me one way or the other. After watching tonightts show though I was touched by the friendship that Kenzie and Jeremy appeared to have. I mean take away his shield of self confidence Jeremy probably is a good chap. As for the Jackie incident bb contestnats historically bonded so tight its hard for them to accept new people. Anyway best of luck to you, jeremy you weren't all bad.

I think we are too tough on them all really

In truth they have mainly been quite a good bunch..Best of luck to all of them

I was thinking the same thing. I didn't like Jeremy -- thought he was smarmy and self-obsessed -- but when he left, the house lost its vitality and sense of fun, and I realized how much he'd contributed, so I take back most of the nasty things I've said (and thought) about him.

Sorry Jeremy. You're okay.

I've liked Jeremy from the beginning and was voting for him to stay in. I was sad to see him go last night and there was a lump in my throat when I head him ask Bez to look after Kenzie.

I knew the house wouldn't be the same without him and I wasn't wrong.

I was out tonight and recorded BB and have just watched it back. Jeremy brought a lot of fun and humour to the house. He is a confident person and maybe didn't come across as well as he could. A lot of what he said was tongue in cheek and some people didn't get his sense of humour which is a shame.

I found him to be a very likeable guy and I loved the camaradie he had with Kenzie and he was very supportive and kept the others going when things were tough and when the tasks took place.

I personally thought he deserved to stay until Sunday but on the other hand he was happy to get out of there in order to get a good night's sleep for a change and catch up with family and friends.

I do think some people on this forum have been too tough on him.

I wish him well in the future

yeah well...the big brother viewers seem to resent anybody who is remotely attractive, happy and confident. look at the winners. all either bland or damaged. i think the winners are the people who make bb viewers feel good about themselves. jeremy obviously reminded people of their own lack and failures. i liked jeremy, because i wasn't threatened by his matey open-ness and normality.

jeremy was disliked because of his public school sense of humour and his tiresomely laddish sexism etc

I think all the housemates have been judged really badly... Lisa especially. They are human afterall and if we're honest we would find perhaps all of those attributes in ourselves or some our best friends but think nothing of it.

I know that I have been known to do my fair share of bitching about other people, showing off, being too loud, sulky, etc etc... it's human nature.

I sometimes wish they would scrap reality tv for this very reason... people get judged so harshly for being themselves. If they aren't being themselves and try to put on act, they are judged for that too. Either way they cannot win.

I've enjoyed this CBB and agree with you all that this year's celebs hve not been a bad bunch at all.

Even Lisa, who's had the worst of the critisxism on the forum, is nowhere as bad as former BB hms but has been casted as the baddie.

We all have to to associate characters in the house on a scale of 1 to 10 and Lisa and Jeremy lost out as having the worst traits.

None of them are bad people, far from it, but out of them all, they had characteristcs that the majority of us just didn't like, or don't associate with.

That's BB for you. If you can't handle the critiscism, don't do the show. They all went in there taking a gamble. Why? It beats me and probably the majority of the population, but good on them for having the guts to take that gamble. How anyone would want to set themselves up for public ridicule is beyond my comprehension.

So hats off to them all for giving us a good show.

Actually they can and do win. Why do you think they agree to appear on the show : for a maximum of 18 days they get paid more than the average person in the UK earns in a year Their profile is raised and most are able to maximise their profile: as Bez has just said he is getting more exposure on this show than he has ever had before.

So what if some people belittle them unfairly on the forums? Others will equally laud them to the skies, again with little reason. For such people, the worst thing you could do is just ignore them. They need the oxygen of publicity: good or bad.

So before you beat yourself up over watching reality shows, just consider the thousands and thousands of people across the UK who even now will be desperate to appear on BB6.

Has anyone watched Without Prejudice? It's like the anti-Big Brother. It gets you to question your prejudices about the contestants rather than confirming stereotypes like BB tends to.

come on! ...'they' would have had to do advanced, edit-splicing to sway the viewers..ie: Dubbing...whatever 'they' choose to broadcast, i'm sure people are capable of making up their own minds

They have enough of a time lapse to be able to edit what they like or even to control what we are seeing from certain cameras They are not going to show us what every camera is seeing.

Every time I tried to watch it, some of the people on the panel were so vile that I couldn't watch it for long. They never said anything that would make me question any prejudices I migth have had about the contestants. I'd just notice the panel's prejudices instead.

Anyway, I don't think Jeremy brought much to the house. I think he could have, but he was too cautious (and went to be too early).

In any case, I don't like it when people make insulting or critical remarks that are sugar-coated with irony so that their targets don't know they're being dissed and so it's deniable as "not serious" or "tongue in cheek".

I didn't like it when Dan did it in BB5 either; but I liked Dan for other reasons.

Perhaps I missed the cut and thrust of the forum on the night itself, but having watched Fridays eviction and exit interview earlier I think he got off lightly in DS terms.

oooh!!..Dan was gorgeously polite and quite 'out' with 'it' in terms of 'irony'...i can understand why people find it hard to explain their angst with a character like Jeremy because his 'joke' was rarely shared...Daniel was more than 'generous'

I do love that show it should be primetime on itv. It is very profound and shows how we make snap judgements. All in all the right person surfaces through in the end. Also I really warm to Lisa Tarbuck on this show, I guess the format doesn't allow her to be too forthright and in this fashion she is quite likeable.

Yes!
I liked him from the start and enjoyed his dry humour (and the shower shots of course lol)
Seriously, he was the one who invented the games, did practical jokes, made the others all laugh. Now he is gone, its quite boring to watch the final three who cant even crack a joke!
Like all BB's previosly, its just left the bland, boring ones. They are only left because they are 'nice' not because they have contributed much.

I agree with you Venus Lady

Now he's gone maybe some people will realise what he contributed as the bits I've seen have been so boring. I really miss his sense of humour and other attributes!
