They are both the same age I think or maybe hazel is a year older.

However I think one of the earlier reasons the younger audience found favour with gina was mainly she spoke in young girl type talk as opposed to a young woman.

You saw many other aspects of this tonight again, but generally gina talks and sounds much younger than hazel.

Just a theory

Gina made a very clever connection, after she came out of the safe house, with all the younger HMs. Hazel saw herself, and wanted the others to see her, as one of the adults and made her connections with Dan and Jackie. The young ones picked on Hazel's lack of empathy with them and now she's been left stranded as the last of the "adults". Trying to connect with Dexter by telling him how much more mature he is compared to the rest is her last throw of the dice.

Yes some people seem to like the little girly girl thing Gina has going on. I can only presume they have something against strong, adult women like Hazel.

Being a rounded adult has always been BB suicide since Cameron.

I've come to the conclusion that Gina sounds like a man on female hormone therapy.

Gina has not got good people skills. Everyone was voting to evict her for over half the series, it was only when it became clear that the public liked her that the others stopped nominating her. Charlie has distanced herself now from Hazel to sit with Gina most evenings (and Sam) hoping that the public will also like her..sad immature case that she is. Hazel is mentally more mature and therefore got on better with Dan, Jackie and now Dexter.

Nothing to do with that, it's character of each HM which counts. Gina might come over as a kid, yet she speaks like an older person would do, which could be put on for effect. Hazel has a more rounded view of her surroundings.

Dexter and Hazel have both just been wound up by another Housemate : Dexter by Callum / Hazel by Gina
and it's got them both really annoyed, - that's what they have in common now, and they empathise with eachother

And when the HMs thought the public didn't like Gina they nominated her every week, your argument works both ways.

It is simple Hazel has had to work hard to make a living and therefore I should imagine has to deal with a wide range of people of all ages which can make you able to communicate in a older way. Gina as she says gets an allowance and people running around after so she she is less mature and spoilt.

hazel looks like she's 34. hardness and cold ruthless ambition age you terribly.

How old is Gina?Hazel is not my favourite housemates but I would rather her stay than Gina.The constant bitching about Hazel is really a not a nice trait from Gina,Hazel's looks are far superior to Gina .When Gina said she would rate herself 10 out of 10 is she joking me.Hazel runs a good business according to her friend,Gina is a spoilt madam who like things her own way in the conversation skills Hazel wins hands down.
