i think there have been one or two songs of theirs where one or two hooks and moments i've liked, but they are generally crap, its their image that sells, really there's nothing else to them, their main fans are still at an age when frankly they aren't the best judges of musical talent. I'm not saying everyone that age knows nothing about music, but i think its fair to say those that do don't consider Blazin Squad music to be anything worth commenting on.
Kenzie isn't that special a rapper, he is simply able to do it, that's all, i wish people would stop using his age as an excuse, 19 is OLD!! in this business, the big names in rap would completely crap on him from a height when they were his age. But at least he knows this and admits it. I don't hate the guy, i do agree the show will do his career a lot of good, before the show Blazin Squad were entering the Pop Graveyard -- and i think they will stay there, because it won't be long before he becomes a Solo artist, imagine any performance they do, a massive proportion will be just cheering for him, he himself has said he isn't the best in the group, and unless the rest of the them are complete muppets, the group WILL break up, just look at Destiny's Child, and there were only 4 of them at most. Blazin Squad have like a 100 in there.
and Kenzie as a solo artist, that won't last long.. but still all better than pre-BB.. so clever move all round. But personally if i was his manager i'd rather he was second, just like most of these reality shows, the winners don't really succeed, its the 'losers'. Bez has much more to gain by winning.. i hope people realise that - Kenzie won't gain any more fans by winning, in fact the opposite would happen.
Please go and have a listen. I think the whole bland must be as dull as Kenzie. :yawn:
