This is a pretty good jist of it.
2 Attacking points for a goal
1 Attacking point for an assist
2 Defensive points against for a defender conceding
1 Defensive point against for a goalkeeper conceding
Multiply your attack points by your opponents defensive points to get your overall score and vice verse to get theres.
Then compare this to the goal targets that will be given on Saturday for your team. Typical goal target for 1 goal last year was 16 points. Therefore a goal and 2 assist (4 pts) and your opponent defense conceding 2 and goalkeeper conceding 1 (4 pts) would be enough to give you 1 goal. (4x4 = 16 points = 1 goal).
You will understand it better seeing it in practice.
I do need to explain a bit more to you though before Saturday and will try to do this tomorrow. It's been difficult to find time last couple of days.
