Also you say the money spent on player wages will be taken away from your £1.5m lottery budget. Does this still hold true if you reassign your funds so you have more cash for wages and less for bids or does it take into effect that you've increased your wage budget?

Is there an option on the site to search all players that have/haven't been bidded for?

1) In playerlist there is a row that says bidders. It will display the number of teams who have bidded for that player. If you click on the player and make an offer you will see who made those bids and also the total number of offers received.

2) Yes (you can follow all your bids on auction status. It will say either Accepted, Leading or Rejected (or Pending on a friday as you won't get a decision till the close of the window then.)

Sort of. I plan to make the columns sortable tomorrow. So you will be able to see the players who have had the most bidders at the top and then scroll down to those who haven't received any bidders.

If you spend 800k in wages in the auction, you will have 700k for the lottery, if you spend 400k on wages you'll have 1.1m. This is only roughly though. It may be more or less than £1.5m.

By that, I don't mean I don't know. It is just dependant on how much people as a whole spend on wages.

So there's no way of extending a players contract?

Say there's two weeks left of RVP's contract so I decide to sell him, how does it work? Do I have to pay the remaining two weeks of his wages still? I presume I just pick the fee to sell him at and the potential buyer sorts out the contract length and new wages?

Also, just to add to that. I will start the mock auction tomorrow. This is sort of like a pre-auction bit as people can make bids without others being able to see anything. This will what will happen on Sunday daytime, with the auction properly kicking off on Sunday evening.

I like this. You are answering your own questions. At least that maybe means it is logical. The only way to extend a players contract is to buy them as a free agent when it runs out. When you sell them their wages go back into your budget and the other player offers a new contract when they buy him.

Yeah I get what you mean. No matter how you split your cash everything you spend on wages will be taken away from your lottery budget and the unspent transfer budget is lost.

I think its logical, its just very different so takes a bit of getting your head around!

Hmm say I buy a player for 7 weeks at £40k a week. Do I take it that we pay the £280k at the very start of the contract rather than £40k a week (which I imagine would lead to managers overspending down the line)?

Well that is sort of what the budgets are for. If you have a budget of 600k for wages and buy a player with 40k wages, your wages budget is 560k. Your wages budget is set as a 150 week rolling budget. This is why 100k in wages becomes 150*100k or 15m in ready to spend cash.

Yes. New highest bid means the deadline moves. Someone either has to go 48 hours holding the highest bid or have the highest bid at Friday 9pm.

This is also how free agents will work during the season, so there will be no more sitting around waiting for 8:59 thursday.

May I just enquire as to this rule:-

"• You can only bid for 1 player per team (this does not include goalkeepers). For example, if you bid for Robin Van Persie, you cannot then bid for Shinji Kagawa, but you can still bid for David De Gea. After the auction, you can sign a maximum of 3 players per team."

What happens if after the auction, players in real life sign for a club in which you already have three players? Would you end up having more than the permitted three players, or would you be forced to sell players to keep within the three players rule?

Assuming its the same as in previous years you'd have to sell one of the players to get down to 3 per team again.

This year the rule will be that you can't buy a 4th player for a team. If you someone moves and you end up with 4 or 5, then you won't be forced to sell. Simply because I'm trying to set the game up so that everything is done automatically and I can't automate something like that. Plus, due to the contracts thing this year, it'll only be a matter of time till you're back to 3.

In summary, nothing happens if you have player move and you have more than 3 from a team. You just can't sign any further players from that team.

Say I had 3 Chelsea and Man united players and Rooney moves to Chelsea taking me up to 4 from them am I allowed to bid for another United player as technically I'm down to 2 now?

I have now fixed the issue with the bidders. It should correctly displaying how many bidders there have been.

Also, just in case some people haven't noticed, the + and - either side of the offer box increases and decreases the offer by a smaller amount

I am having problems with being automatically signed out. I don't know if others are having this, but I am aware of it and will fix eventually, but is only minor inconvenience so not high priority.

Yeah I keep getting this too, doesn't let me log back in either most of the time?

I'll clear all the bids about midday and people can made their pre-auction bids, then it'll officially start at 8pm that evening.

Yeah. It doesn't happen all the time though so I'll find time soon to fix it. When you log back in, if it gives you a blank page, it's because their is no data to display because it has forgotten which player you picked. Just log back in and go back to homepage through typing in the URL.

What do you mean by an 'additional' £30m? Because you say the money not spent in auction is lost, so what is the £30m an addition to? Or do all teams just start on £30m after the lottery?


Won't people just be waiting till 8.59 Friday now though to put in a last minute highest bid?
