Yeah BBC are a tad inconsistent. Is there any incident in particular we are talking about? It won't be BBC's decision though. It's the Press Association who provides their info.

Fair to say these 2 games are probably going to decide our match Fab. 9 players between us involved.

Well, I think the record for lowest scoring week is under threat here. In the previous 73 gameweeks we've only had under 5 goals 3 times. 1 of which was the first ever week. The lowest ever at the moment is 2 goals. Surely we'll see more than that in a week where Man United play Chelsea, right?

It's not the inconsistency. I just find it really strange what they deem worthy of an assist. If you go on a mazy run going past 4 players then get fouled in the box how can you not get any points for that while the person who has the far simpler job of scoring gets 2. Similarly if you take a good shot that the keeper parries or gets a slight deflection off a defender before falling to a different player for a very simple tap in. Surely the first player should be getting an assist for that?


Finally after more than 8 full matches we have our first attacking points in our game

We have our first goal! Against Bally of all people who didn't have a single defensive point 30 minutes ago!

Shame I couldn't find space in my team for Whittingham or Bent. Would of been in with a chance here.

Silva assist now too...was never going to play Whittingham really but swapping out Bent at the last second is a real kick in the bollox

What an incredible game. We have our first goal too completely unexpectedly. Bally looked favourite to beat Funk. Now it is 1-0 to Funk and the only realistic way he was ever going to score was City conceding 3.

...and Yakutz scores now too.

Our game might not be over for you either Fab.

I completely agree. I chose BBC because it was the most convenient, but it might be time for a change. I'm pretty sure they've been more stingy this season. We have 5 goals out of 17 this weekend that are unassisted. Last season we'd usually have 2 or 3 out of 30ish in a week.

Your game is definitely the most interesting. If Phil Jones starts then it'll be tough for Bhavesh to win. He'd need to score 2 goals to beat you.

Looks likely we will end 0-0 then Fab, unless Vidic can get you 3 attack points. You've definitely edged it though. :/

Barring a red card i'd say our game is over. Fairly pleased with my team in the end though, it's only decisions by the manager that have let them down

Could be two weeks in a row getting more attacking than defensive points which is always good.


I definitely think there needs to be a change. BBC have changed what they give assists for this year for sure. You used to get them for winning penalties (but not freekicks). We based what players to buy on their stats from last season but 10 assists last season would only be about 6 this year.


1-0 Chelsea would do it for Bhavesh. Its very precariously balanced for sure though.

It's probably the most likely outcome, but I wouldn't say it is over yet. If tomorrow sees a 5 goal game or something like that things can change very quickly, as we saw with Bally and Funk's game today. Bat has Ba, Cleverley, Zaha and Terry all to come and you have 2 defenders playing tomorrow with a potential penalty if one of them doesn't play for any reason.

Blimey. Can't remember the last time my players scored this many goals in one weekend - even got one spare on the bench! Thought it was all going to come to nothing, mind, very glad City went and conceded three.
