Pretty pleased with today. Hoping for a Stoke goal tomorrow which would score me 2 goals.

Fortune favours Fab

Friedel is in goal for Spurs today.

No Lloris, no Vorm... any guesses as to who Season's playing?

Meanwhile, looks like I'm on to face yet another inpenetrable defence.

Looks like Tottenham are doing you a favour the way they've started!

Does undermine AVB's argument a bit that Lloris was fine 2 minutes after being knocked unconscious, but a week later and suddenly he's being left out as a precaution.

I should've bought Friedel as backup in hindsight, if AVB hadn't specifically said he would play Lloris.

The game was pretty much decided by two of our transfers. Mignolet-Lloris and Lambert-Sessegnon. I don't know what to do with my defence. Thought it was all good with Agger and Collins playing, but then Lloris and Zabaleta don't start.

So much happened late on there. That penalty gave Bhavesh Fireballs a draw. Jack only just held on against JMTD and Yakutz's defense took an absolute hiding.

Another draw that could've been a win

One attacking point shy of a 2nd goal (again!) and Bats just reaches his first goal target...

Fab must be licking his lips at playing me next

If you have a bad week defensively against him then the game might be broken. You certainly the draw masters.

For anyone who is interested, I've made a script that calculates the goal targets each week automatically. Ignore this if you're not interested.

http://www.fantasycoach.co.uk/goaltargets/

If you put in the average number of goals, assists, etc. that we've had in the game and then the actual goals per team (in the premier league), then it will give you the goal targets for the following week. I've put all penalty points under "Average Def Conceded" to make easier.

You can work out the averages of each thing from the league standings page, but I've done it already for next week, shown below:

Average Goals: 1.5
Average Assists: 1.21
Average GK Conceded: 1.02
Average Def Conceded: 4.58 (including penalty points)
Goals Per Team: 1.22 (I get from the page here if you scroll down to where it says goal p. match)

Thought I'd share this to make goal targets seem less arbitrary. This has always been how they are calculated since our first week 2 and a bit years ago, although in the past I usually guessed at what I expected the goals per team figure to be and earlier in the season I wasn't updating it every week.

Just to add, the script actually makes 23,100+ calculations and does so in the blink of an eye, which blows my mind a little.

I didn't think, but when I updated the home page on the site, your browsers will have forgotten your passwords for most people. Just PM me if you have forgotten what yours is.

Somehow I got a draw, not much use though, when wins are really what I need to pull away from the bottom!

Just a heads up to anybody that PMed me that I haven't been on properly over the weekend or these last two days barely. In agony all weekend with toothache and finally got seen yesterday and got some antibiotics that have been knocking me out nearly. Just wanted to give you a heads up, I'm not ignoring anybody, just one of the worst pains imaginable and now the tablets have been making me feel crappy.

Don't worry, hope you get better There is no worst pain than Toothache I suffered for years with infections. From experience Tesco extra strong pain killers are very good.

No worries mate. Sorry to hear you're not well. Never suffered with toothache myself, but can imagine that is one of the worst.

Just a heads up, I've fixed a few of the problems with the messenger. You can do plus signs now and longer messages (up to 2500 characters).

That's ok then, thought my offer was pants

In all honesty though toothache is awful, thought I'd pick a bit of sweet out of my teeth and discovered half a molar

I replied to your recent message.

I've lost track of some of what I had in the pipelines so I'll just quickly say that I'm also looking for a defender swap for Sakho and am looking to get rid of Sterling and Mcarthy for anybody interested.

Oh, Cole is also coming up too so give me a shout regarding him too. Would obviously want a top swap for him though.
