Before it started. I did mention in the thread that new players would be added before the auction started proper. Didn't realise nobody had bid.

I didn't even think to look, even now he's still a Lyon player and any potential deal with Newcastle is looking less and less likely especially with Remy being brought in.

You need to be a bit careful of this, Soldado was added well before a deal was fully agreed too but luckily Spurs did manage to sign him.

No Soldado and Gomis were the only ones. Sorry. It is because I read some misleading stories about the deal and was asked if I could add him too. I was under the impression that the deal was done. The mirror even reported as so.

Season, can you just confirm this is how it works with Mata and Hazard both having a deadline at 9pm Friday.

Since you don't find out if bids on Friday are successful or not then whoever is leading for both at midnight on Thursday is essentially assumed to be leading right until 9pm on Friday in so much as they can't bid for another Chelsea player and they will not get any of that money back to make other auction bids (even if they get outbid for Mata/Hazard on Friday).

Similarly, on Friday we can only bid for a max of 1 player from each club as we don't know if said bid is successful?

Basically, if you make a bid on Friday, your Offer Status will be set to Pending and if you have the leading offer at 9pm, you win that player. The person with the current leading offer will be told their bid has been rejected.

So you still find out if someone beats your offer (if you're winning going into friday) or did you mean at 9pm they find out their bid has been beaten?

Yeah. It will tell them their offer is beaten, when it is beaten, but the person who beat their offer will not be told, it will just say "Pending".
