New tv- humax guide is all blocky

Just got a new TV and connected it to my 9150t. The picture is fine, nothing wrong with it. But the guide and info are all blocky. It didn't do this on the other TV.
I've not got any HDMI cables yet so I'm using scart and aerial in. Though it shouldn't make any difference if it was fine before.
Picture and on screen text is ok on the built in freeview. I'm confused. Does anyone know what I can do? Its set to Rgb and its all same cables.
Thanks.

Some TV's display Scart based SD pictures quite badly frankly... might need to go into settings on the TV and turn off any "adjustments" it makes to the signal from Scart to make it "better".

I haven't tried them myself as have plenty lying around and a TV I need to replace that refuses to work HDMI with the Humax since oneof the updates (it worked fine before that) but apparently Poundland ones work as well as any...

Silly me there's no hdmi socket on my 9150t. I had a play round with the TV settings and putting it in movie mode makes the on screen display much better.

Sorry missed that, thought it said the HDR Fox T2 for some reason... but yes seeing the EPG and trying the different modes show quite how much they "play" with what should actually be displayed and guess (wrongly) a lot of the time.
