Got my statement from my credit card today with the emergency money advance on it after our wallets were nicked. I didn’t know what the charges for the service would be. Found out today… nothing.

They were really good. We were given an emergency phone number and had one person dealing with sorting things throughout the day.
Mr G had three emergency money options but it was my Barclaycard that was by far the most helpful service.

As I said that makes a change for them. It's good that you had someone decent working with you too.
I want to change banks I'm sick of the sleaze & massive payouts directors etc., are getting. The dilemma I have is I want to use a Scottish bank (not only in name) but the banks up here have bought over so many English branches they've actually forgotten their roots & lost sight of the fact they were the 1st bank ever to open!
