Caprice: The celeb to most regret going into the house?
Inspiration
23-01-2005
Anyone else feel caprice is probably the celeb that most regrets going into the Big Brother house?

I was hoping it would have given Lisa a bit of a wake up call to how she is perceived, but after her Jackie baiting again on BBLB it would seem she really believes she is always in the right. She was the least known of the celebs to go into the house, I'm hoping she's the one we least hear of ever again

I dont think so. Business-wise I think it will do her good (its a silly market) and personally I think she enjoyed it.

I would say Lisa and Germaine were the only 2 to damage their public image.

No, I think there's competition on that and that it depends on what Caprice was hoping to achieve. If she just wanted some "free" airtime to advertise that fact she has an underwear range at a leading UK department store and some fun at the same time, she's done it. The competition comes from:
John McC - where others get 15 mins he'll get 5. If he gets a diet coke ad, I'd be surprised at would only be good for the UK and it would be very shortlived.
Lisa - no improvement on image there. And for those who knew nothing of her before - she hasn't endeared herself really. Yes, you can be opionated and bossy. But if that's all you present, you'll find others walking the other way.
Jeremy - he's an actor and people loved him in Holby City. But was it really the character he played that they loved really? He had no unique selling point on display apart form his bod.

I disagree on Gernaine turnip. I think her CBB outing is unlikely to affect her existing portfolio of interests. And who had heard of Buglife before?

Caprice regret it??? £100k+ in the bank and two weeks exposure to sell more underwear, I don't think so....

Besides, she's proved what nice person she is by saying Bez(zie) should win

Give it time.

Having the perfect face oops sorry I meant voice for radio thatis where her niche lies.

How ever she has shown she is not up to the top jobs & IMHO is almost passed it for "tiny bopper" stations.

Lisa was voted out with 3% of the vote which equates to any future employer, this girl is not popular, Listeners will switch off.

I used to love a radio station on MW, talk UK I think it was called, but from what I could gather last time I was home it has all been taken over by Talk Sport. Lisa would have been good on there, in short doses. Is there anything similar around ?

Sooner or later Lisa will be hit in the face by the reality of what people see her as, she may not agree with it, but the evidence is all there.

To be honest, Lisa was someone I'd have liked to pack in her own BB suitcase and trunked out the door at the earliest opportunity!

It's OK to be opinionated, but to think you're right all the time is just a personality defect. It shows you don't listen and learn. It shows you can make your mind up on one or two facts you've just got to know and not be interested in the multitude of others that are also relevant.

I'd say sack the psychotherapist or get him/her to earn their money!

Caprice may regeret it the most as "grubby little bras" just might stick in the mind. Like to see how her bra sales go in the next few months.

Funny you say that

I watched her interview twice and her body language gave me the impression that she did have a soft spot in that way .... I watched the second time with my daughter who is quite perceptive for an 11 year old and when she saw how caprice held her hand over her mouth and giggled about Bez she laughed and said she fancies him

Now on the looks front I don't think Caprice would go for him but I do think that for her he has a lot of attributes she would want in a man ...... chivalry isn't dead

Chivalry isn't dead; neither is a sense of fun and commitment to old fashioned values (as long as you can party, in whatever sense of the word). I say this because if what is reported about Bez is true he's a star and a real rock. We all have moments of weakness, but it's the set of values we carry that counts!

I think Lisa already does a talk show on BBC Radio London. And I can't understand what she did to be so hated, I liked her!

Qualifier: in the so edited clips we were shown, Lisa came across as not only opinionated but in tolerant. So intolerant that she was so quick to make up her mind, based on little fact. One thing she doesn't like gets said she attacks. Where at the same time she came across, in the edited version, as a leader and indeed pacifier, she still came across as intolerant.

And as I write this I am so conscious of the "edited version" that we see on CBB main show. Who cares how the vote goes at the end of the day, eh? It's all been engineered anyway, by editing!

Interesting theory. We women are not always attracted to the obviously pretty blokes. I would quite understand Caprice having a thing for Bez.

Remember when Bez kept saying he needed a cuddle? Caprice, who was sitting right next to him, didn't respond... she said she was going to bed. This could mean...

1. That she's cold and insensitive
2. That she was shy because she likes him
3. That she's got a hearing problem
4. That she's too blo*dy Californian and/or vacuous to know what "cuddle" means.

Which is it? You decide......

In real life, I don't think many of us do hate Lisa, I certainly don't.

But this is Big Brother & many others like me, tuned in almost 24/7 for over two weeks & had her up our noses for most of that time.

In real life we wouldn't have to suffer her for that long, but as viewers watching a 24 /7 show almost 24/7 that woman really started to grate. I would have poured vinegar on wounds in order to not hear her opinion on EVERY LITTLE THING.

Big brother is a phenonema & we on DS:BB are simply responding to that

CBB is a TV show that will last for only a few more hours, a few weeks on from that , many will not remember who the HM were nevermind how annoying they came across.

PS if I am in the UK & here her on a chat UK station I would proberbly stay tuned but it would depend on who her guest is

I think Caprice has shown that she has no sense of humour.

On CBBLB she turned her nose up at all her "lookalikes". It was like she thoguht "I'm so much more beautiful than they are. How dare they compare me to them"

Caprice can't tell when people are being sarcastic and having a joke.

5. She couldn't trust herself to cuddle him in case she couldn't control herself ravishing him
