They're lovely - and look very contented together. Have they always been together or did you bond them?

Aww! They're beautiful! Never owned anything like that, but I do have an English Spot crossbreed and my wee Lionhead just passed away a month ago. I hope they get a new home

My favourite breed..bred and exhibited French lops for over10 years..used to have 40 adults in a huge building 40ft x 20ft with not a hutch in sight..they all lived in large pens..I eventually housed 4 girls in an old aviary we had (no birds in there) with roof and 3 sides..they all littered together and helped feed and raise eachother kits and against all rules and guidelines I housed a few guineapigs in there too they had plenty of places to run and hide if they wanted to but you would often find baby guineapigs feeding of French lops and rabbit kits snuggled uner a guinea pig (which was quite amusing....it was facinating to watch..each doe had a litter once a year to keep my lines going for show purposes..beautiful gentle giants of the rabbit world..xxx
Here is a vieao I posted on youtube some years back..keep watching and you will see a big gentle French lop just lay there whilst baby guinea pigs feed off her x I never had any problems mixing the two together in this space. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMj6H08Lygk another video here..big soft frenchie that doesn't react at all surrpunded by baby guinea pigs..I would never do this unless I was 100% trusting..I knew my lines of French lops by this time and their natures.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4VPCiOyBcU |
