What happened to the major BT Vision update?
I heard over a year ago that BT were doing a major update to their Vision service and that it would be rolling out over the following 6 months, however I am yet to see any update to my box. I also heard that BT had secured the rights to air several non-Freeview channels (MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon) - yet these haven't appeared either.
Though BT's OnDemand services are to be admired, the rest of the service feels like BT have given up on Vision (maybe to concentrate on supporting YouView?). For example, Sky and Virgin Media have been offering HD services for years - and yet BT Vision have no HD content apart from rented films. Is it just me that hasn't received the new look BT Vision, or have they just delayed the roll-out? BT Vision New Look: http://www.productsandservices.bt.co...?topicId=33776 New BT Vision channels: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/media/ne...-channels.html ------- PS: On a side note, has anyone else had problems with BT's remotes (i.e.: not very durable)? The buttons main on ours seem to stop working after about a year each time we get them replaced... |
