Hoping for some specialist knowledge here. I'm really struggling trying to unlock this cheap old phone. It's not normally specified in 'drop down box' type online unlock code generators, some sites actually say it can't be unlocked via code alone.

I've tried the DCT4 generator on www.unlockme.co.uk without luck.

If relevant, software info is:

It's locked to Virgin, bought as a PAYG phone. If the answer is that it cannot be unlocked by code, please can anyone advise on sourcing the data cable (Serial) required by the Nokia Tool by Rolis (v1.8), as all I can find on eBay etc are USB data cables which I presume won't work, as a COM port has to be selected?
