Is it ok to eat these if they are out of date
I,ve got a chest freezer and I know there are quite a few buried at the bottom

Were they out of date when you froze them? I'm sure I saw a TV show about how long stuff will last when frozen and it was years I recall.

As long as it was fresh when frozen and has been kept frozen then it's more of a quality issue than safety. The worst problem will likely be freezer burn.

Yeah, we often cook out of date frozen food as it was fresh when frozen, I'm still alive so you'll be fine

Recently had trouble with my freezer so several items had to be put in the ordinary fridge and kept quite a while - made sure I gave the food a good sniff before I ate it - a few of the ready meals actually tasted better than normal when I came to eat them.

It depends on what's in them really. I'll give most things a go if they're out of date but won't consider it for a second if it contains fish.

I'm sure if they were put in the freezer right away you have 3 months to keep the lot before it has to be thrown away.
