Is not a winner by any stretch.
He's a sexist, mysoginistic dinosaur who thinks he's cool to subjectify women on the show - his hearing impediment certainly does not EVER hinder this.
I don't care if he's 'challenged' with his hearing - he makes me want to vomit - does he cook? Does he wash up? Does he ever pedal the electric bike for anyone else? Does he pedal the shower for anyone else ever? Does he socialise really in any meaningful way? Does he do ANYTHING?
Oh yes - he sleeps, he chases after tanning girls - employees of BB.
He asks Dexter if he will strip his assistants naked - employees of BB.
He's a mess who uses, yes he does use, an apparent 'disability' to coast - his only offerings to the viewers are smutty mouthings about women seen as objects, juvenile crap.
His only redeeming feature is a very nice and real relationship with Gina - BUT the public see NOTHING of this unless they watch live feed.
I feel, along the lines of BB Pete, BB would like to make him a winner - him or the twins (equally as f****d up imo, and I include the odious Pete)
But gosh it would be nice for once to see a person living with a challenge to really LIVE it and not use it.

If you have to ask so many questions about him, you obviously don't know him that well!

Just that he wears it on his sleeve - like all the Welsh Boyos

I lived there for some years and as a non family member I can tell you he is being very much himself and in No way playing a game - women do it all - cooking, cleaning, peddling electricity, peddling showers - it has all been done for him in the house - as it is at home - he's not growing - he has a home from home

why else would a 23yr old behave like this?

Learned behaviour - this is his normal - where's the sad face when you need it?
Because even with a hearing impediment I've known people lead very 'full lives' but with him its an eternal excuse as to why he can't and why he shouldn't and why other people are stopping him - I work with stroke victims - thats impediments - OK that IS impediments and they put this punk to shame .

Sweeping generalisations of all Welsh boys.I have a son and he is independent 15 year old he washes the dishes, irons his clothes so when the time comes he has some life skills to live on his own when he goes uni or and he cooks. One household does not represent the Welsh nation.

It's not insensitive at all. They're just stating where he comes from.

Could you give examples of him accusing people of stopping him leading a normal life, or is this something you are making up to make him look bad?

No it doesn't and I appreciate that -
One household does not represent the entire Welsh Nation and I take your point -
BUT your tremendously and fabulously successful household - as expressed to me by the wonderful and totally successful YOU doesn't either - I applaud you for how wonderfully RIGHT you have got it - and you should feel tremendously proud by how fabulous you are - and I and sure you do but you don't speak for all Welsh households any more that I do - do you dear?

Indeed. Two separate threads are needed for the OP to express her contempt for the Welsh.

Subjectify?

This forum crazes me.
There were five existing threads on the first two pages where the opening post could logically have been placed.

The producers seem to pick thick people from Wales for the show.

(Yes, I know that Glyn 'How do I switch the cooker on' Wise got a degree, I just don't know how)

By all means condemn the behaviour, if you think appropriate. By all means say that in your experience some are like that.

However, have you evidence that everyone of Sam's nationality, age and disability status behave in the manners described?

BTW I am not Welsh and have no family or friends who are.

the OP hardly 'went for you' now did she? She was simply stating things as she saw them and why should her view be nonsense?

Well you clearly did - hence the need to tout about your fabulous life and you fabulous parenting skills and how you have got it all SO right.
I didn't 'generalise' about Welsh boys any more than you did - I explained my experience of them - which is as real as yours - just a different persective.
I thought you were off anyway, as you flounced some posts ago !!

Ok I'll bite, WTF I've got five mins to kill. You did in fact generalise about us Welsh boys and I quote " He wears it on his sleeve like (here's the important bit) all Welsh boys. I'm not sure what it is he's wearing on his sleeve exactly but it's a generalisation all the same.

Johno was merely bringing this point to your attention. Your reply to her was positively dripping with sarcasm so no wonder she decided to leave you to your ramblings.

I think it's a shame that the actions of a few have tainted your view of the Welsh nation as a whole, rest assured all nationalitys have their idiots. Do come back and give us another try

Turning to Sam, no he's not perfect and yes he can be annoying. I know he's 24 but it strikes me that he's slightly behind the curve in the maturing process, it's not an excuse but I think most of us blokes would admit to sometimes being complete plonkers in our teens to very early twenties when dealing with the opposite sex, it's all a learning experience and learn he will.

I object to the use of 'pretty' in the title of this thread !!

HE IS NOT GOOD LOOKING IN THE LEAST !

He looks like Mickey from the dole class in League of Gentlemen when he grins inanely (which is often).

Its his Hm's who should feel the shame, the way they have excluded him,he wouldn't of had to remind them of his deafness. They showed him no consideration during all the communal conversations.Hehad Callum for support in that respect now the others see he could be a challenge,
