Seriously, has any soap ever had such a miserable, moany, sour faced character as Mandy in Corrie? Does she ever smile? When she delivered that line "I'm not laughing" I heard myself thinking "You don't say"

It's no wonder Lloyd's character has become so touchy with that grump for company!

It is odd they would put someone like that behind a bar which is meant to be the centre of the street. Not a people person at all.

No, in fact I don't even think there has been such a miserable, moany, sour faced character in any soap:sleep:

True, they are both miserable witches, but I do remember them smiling and having fun on the odd occasion, but Mandy has been miserable since the day she appeared on Corrie! Unless I missed her smiling,,

She's got a face like a slapped arse and I wish she'd just get into a taxi and bugger off.

Shirley likes a good time and even when she's being a miserable, hard faced cow, she's damned good at it. Mandy is just tedious, especially when she doesn't change the record about how wonderfully talented her boring daughter is.

That is SO irritating isn't it? She might have some paper qualifications but she' s very, very dim indeed. I mean, would a professional, well educated woman who seems to be about 30,be interested in a girl of Sophie's age? A miserable, spotty one who works part time in a corner shop and has the conversational skills of a 12 year old.

I like Mandy. She needs to come back next year - she brings a different personality to the shoe.

Mandy is always moody and aggressive. I agree that she makes a terrible grumpy barmaid. Personally I don't believe that someone like Jenna would have a relationship with someone like Sophie. The actresses don't make convincing lovers. Mandy's attitude towards Jenna's qualifications do my head in. I'll be glad when Mandy is gone. I hope Jenna leaves too.

The only time I can recall her smiling was when she tricked loyd into thinking he had lost/killed her tortoise when in fact she knew he was safe. Tells you everything you need to know in that making other people feel terrible is her idea of fun. awful character and I feel sorry for the actress.

Oh come on calling her an actress is going a step to far, she's about as wooden as my front door which would be able to display better acting capabilities

What do you mean by 'Trollop'? There is nothing in the least 'trollop' like in the character of Mandy. Do you have to insult all the female characters all the time?
