Is there ANYONE else who quite liked Tyler?
It's so uncool to like characters like him, but i don't mind admitting that i liked him.
Yes, he's a bit bland and boring, but in 'real life' there's plenty of people like him. Imho, soaps don't need to be filled with interesting, colourful, charismatic characters. Having a few 'dullards' sprinkled around adds to the balance of the cast and show and makes them a bit more realistic. Tyler was a nice, decent young man, and there should always be a place for characters like him!

He was far from great but he was alright. I didn't really understand the massive hate against him and constant calls for him to be axed considering he was hardly ever even on-screen anyway.

The calling for his axing got out of control . He was OK . I would rather watch Tyler than Joey TBH

Really crap boring tedious character played by a horrendous actor who has the personality of a dead fish!
Joey Kirsty aj fatboy and tamwar are only marginally better than Tyler |

He didn't add anything to the show, waste of a space for another decent character.

He was alright, he just hung around aimlessly with nothing to do.

Yes, I think he's been OK overall, and I think he's been quite good in the last few weeks

I liked him. Young males get a rough time on ds. Generally from other young males.

I quite liked him. He showed a lot of potential in the last few weeks - this usually happens when someone leaves

He became Whitney's puppet sadly
He was a generally nice character who given decent storyline I would rather see than sickly Alfie |

He had an okay exit but apart from his tedious relationship with Whitney which had me rolling my eyes, I was rather indifferent to him. Won't be missing him.

He's been much more tolerable in the last year but that's mainly because he's barely done anything. That said, however, I have found him far more watchable in the run up to his exit than I've found him in the entire rest of his stint.

I wish they'd given him to duff duff at least to make up for not giving him any storylines in the past year!
I liked him, he was good scamming the car off Danny, should have had more of that cheeky, wheeler dealer side of him shown, as he's been written as being almost boring. Feel sorry for the actor really |

In an age where the BBC have to deliver value for money it makes sense to get rid of an essentially redundant character.
I did like his exit though, arriving the way he came. And he is 10x the actor that Chewbacca is.... Then again Kirsty's hat was a better actor than him. |

I hated him to begin with, but I guess he's improved in his last month! Definitely was the right decision to axe him though, and I'm very glad he's left
