Fridays episode was the best in 3 years, I really enjoyed it,
I'm glad she got closure and has a friend in Kat,

But I was expecting it to be a full on storyline with Whit going of the rails.

There was so much media hype,

I guess it was one of Newmans many lies again!

Who else thought it was a proper storyline?

This reminds me of Lucy Beale's cancer scare earlier in the year. Two or three episodes later she was given the all-clear

Nice work, Newman.

Yeah it said something like "Whitneys path to self destruction" but it was over in like 3 episodes? It would of been great to see her over the rails but maybe they could save a storyline like that for a better actress.

This is the third time Tony has reappeared into Whitney's life. Talk about recycling old storylines...

By 'Whitney's path of destruction' I think Lorraine Newman was referring to her fling with Joey.

Yes Jacqueline jossa is back so unfortunately she will go back to being a minor character again

Was it purely to pave the way for Tyler's exit?

I'm sorry to be negative but I'm really getting bored of Whitney now. I think she was a good character up until last year, but now all her whinging and angst is tedious.

Then again, I finding EE pretty poor at the moment.

What frustrated me was how relegated the cancer storyline was, and how she only got about 20 seconds to tell Denise that she had the all clear before it went onto something else. It's like they decided to do a big good storyline for Lucy, but then Lauren got in the way so they didn't commit
