Daphne died in 1989. The scenes were shot in 1988 when Elaine left but were shown in 1989 episode. She died in hospital after a car crash - Neighbours like car crashes!

There is no proof that she is dead, is there? I can't believe that was 10 years ago! I found it quite shocking at the time, I had no spoilers!!




I have not missed an episode since 2001 and cannot remember these people.

Drew Kirk, has to be death that was slightly OTT, he hardly fell from the horse, not enough to kill him anyway.

The only one of those you've highlighted, that I know is Jim Dolan, who was Susan's friend - I seem to remember getting emotionally close to him at one point. It was after his death that Susan left Karl to stay with Mal.

Lijiana and Serena were never found so in theory they could still be alive. It happened to Harold after all



Isn't Chalie Cassidy Lyn Scully's father hence why Steph named her son Charlie.

Ild love to see a full hollyoaks death list, it would be longer than all the soaps put together!

Edit - just saw the Wikipedia page and no one died in hollyoaks in 1998 but 12 people died in 2006

There's loads on that list that I can't remember either. I remember Kerry Bishop so I've been watching since at least 1990 (and to be honest I did watch the reruns from the beginning on Gold!). My memory must be rubbish...

Surely you remember Marco? The rest were short term but he was a regular. He was Carmella's boyfriend, briefly husband who died in the bush fire. Their whole storyline, a love triangle with Oliver Barnes, was basically rehashed later on with Vanessa, Lucas and Rhys.

How can you not remember Marco Silvani? And Jim Dolan only died in 2011.

Terrance Chesterton was part of a big story in 2007. He was masquerading as a medium, pretending to talk to Stingray's ghost, but was really a con man in cahoots with fake doctor Charlotte Stone. When Sky found out the truth, she hit him with a sugar dispenser, but it was Charlotte who finished him off. Sky went to jail for several months and shared a cell with mad Mary (Rowena Wallace), while Boyd romanced Charlotte and taped a confession, which ended in a police chase.

Some of the others were random teen deaths, so not memorable at all. I vaguely remember Josh Burns; I think he was played by Liam Hemsworth. No idea how he died, though.


He didn't die from falling of the horse, but from the horse trampling him afterwards.

Didn't Paul's first wife Terri die? She tried to shoot him but don't remember what happened to her after. Was she just carted off?

I thought she had left but returned to shoot the death scene? The character was off screen for months and even the car crash she and Gail were in wasn't shown onscreen.

Good times.

Now that I've looked those up I'd forgotten, most are coming back to me but reading up on Marco is still jogging no memories (it's strange because I used to fancy Carmella!).

I usually have a VERY good memory.

The two deaths in Neighbours which stand out for me are Todds and Jims.

We didn't see her die. She committed suicide.
