with the ben thing, if shirl hadnt been there ben would never have killed heather.
Thats down to the writers. They didnt give her any of her own when she was with phil, i think she had plenty to offer if theyd done stuff from her familys side. But it was always focussed on ben or theyre r/ship rather than shirl as her own character
