Why is Dexter desperate to win?I wasn't aware he was showing anymore "desperation" than anyone else. Do you believe that anyone goes into BB not desperate to win £100,000 ?? What is wrong with that? Why do people do the Lottery?

He only brought enough clothes in for 3 weeks so he obviously didn't think he could - the twins and Charlie and Sam and Sophie and Gina and Hazel are all wanting to win

We still don't know precisely why he's there. His 'friend' who was on BOTS said there was a reason and she found it funny, but wouldn't say, which implies it isn't self-growth. It's something else.
His PR company, the lectures, the book....none of these really exist. Presumably he wants BB exposure to help get those going, but again it that may not be The Reason.
Then again Mario the mole was always banging on about having a secret and when he finally came out he admitted there wasn't one.

I wish people would stop throwing these snippets in. I want to like Dexter but it's like he's done an a,b,c of the things that other housemates have done. Play the charming manipulator (Aaron), only brought enough clothes for 3 weeks (Luke Anderson), secret reason for going in (Mario - didn't know that one), then there's friends on BOTS saying he's got no friends, a fake (?) girlfriend, a mother he hasn't seen for ages being available to go in the house for a task and to nominate, a mutual dislike with Callum then turning on Sam, a fake (?) attraction to Charlie, stories planted in the newspapers. I want to like him but it all sounds so fishy
