No he is not evil.

He works for Trevor and they are trying to get Browning to leave Hollyoaks so Trevor can have his share of the club.

He works for a murdering, drug-dealing pimp. Of course he's evil.

Jim is not evil. he just could caught up in the wrong crowd i.e. Trevor

Jim doesn't have a personal issue with Browning, he is just having poison dripped into his ear from Trevor

I would absolutely love it if Jim turned out to be Trevor's boss too and he was the one running everything. I know that Trevor said he had been their family lawyer for years but it would be cooler if he was the boss and that he knew the law inside out. I know this would only give him a reduced shelf life but it would be such a twist and I could see Hollyoaks pulling it off.
