Ridiculously aggressive questioning of David - almost as if she knows he's hiding something two seconds after seeing him. Bit like Roy questioning Hayley about when she was supposed to have gone shopping. Why can't it ever be done properly.

That's typical Leanne. Hypocritical, judgemental, righteous. Suspicious. Of course we the viewers and David himself knows that David does have something to hide (though he didn't do what he did on purpose and certainly didn't expect the lorry to crash into them) but Leanne always tends to think the worst of people.

Exactly what I was thinking at the time. That is not how you would behave. You would ask questions but not in that aggressive manner.

It's as though the characters have seen exactly the same as the viewer and are highly suspicious even without any cause.

Folk should have been forming an orderly queue in which to slap some sense into her, a bit like in Airplane.

Yep, the more I think about it, that would have definitely happened if UQ had been directing this episode.

She did the same insane questioning of Kylie after she had heard from David, it was ridiculous.

I cant wait for the truth about Nick's one-night-stand with Kylie to come out just to see Leanne's face, I want Nick to be the dad to spite the child-catcher.

I hope Nick points out that although he betrayed David he has done nothing wrong in regards to his relationship with Leanne. She had dumped him on their wedding day in order to try and reunite with her ex-husband and only went crawling back to Nick when Peter rejected her. Him sleeping with Kylie occurred in that interim period when he was a free agent.

I don't know why Kylie is being so nice to Leanne after the way she always speaks to her.

Spot on.

I already feel sorry for Kylie though lol. Saint Leanne already looks down her nose at her.

Exactly what I thought. It made me detest the character even more.

I don't mind Leanne as a character. She gets up people's noses, fine by me. But I agree it's tedious when characters are manipulated to behave in unlikely ways so the audience GETS IT, like we're two-year-olds at a pantomime.

F'rinstance you can always tell when Something Terrible Is Going To Happen because people who've been insulting each other for weeks get all smiley and matey for no reason, like Kylie and Leanne the night of the crash. Then it swings to the other extreme, and scowly Leanne is on the warpath when as yet she has no cause to. Sigh. I know it's soap but it'd be much more dramatic if they could just let things play out a bit more naturally.

Every time I look at the digital spy forum it is the same group of people bashing Leanne in threads. It often comes across as childish and spiteful e.g saying Leanne is a moose which is offensive to the actress and whatever the character does the same people will always moan.
I thought the questioning seemed fine she came across like she was concerned and wanted to know about it and was frustrated by the lack of information and as she said tonight it didn't make sense as she know Nick is a good driver so not likely to lose control and all the hate campaign has been happening at the bistro which has made her suspicious.
I think Jane Danson is a great actress and I like the way there are lots of sides to Leanne. It makes her human as people in general can be hypocritical and act differently over time and learn from past mistakes.

It will be the Corrie "we were on a break" moment... that could run for years

Leanne's got a superiority complex.
That's like saying Elizabeth the second is acting like a queen.

Leanne is superior.

To the OP Mo,

This is David we are talking about, he is evil beyond evil so if I were in Leanne's shoes i'd suspect the little rat had something to do with it.
