Eurosport 2 is the channel, and you are able to watch it through Eurosport player, it costs around 5€/month.

The 22 territories included in the agreement are: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.

So there might be a need of SmartDNS or VPN, depending where you are.

Do you have to use Smart DNS and a foreign Eurosport player to watch this, or is it available on the one on my Samsung TV without any special fiddling?

I think you need to use smartdns or vpn, because BT has bundesliga rights in UK.

But this will still work with the Eurosport Player app on my TV?

Anyone know if Overplay supports this?

I think it depends if the app is made for UK only, or is it just the same app on every Samsung TV. Eurosport UK channels are not the same as we have here.

If the app is same on every TV, then you would need to know where does it get that location information, is it from the firmware settings, which is changeable, or is it so smart that it recognizes your ip address. If this is how it works, I dont think SmartDNS would work because there's no actual geoblock, and I doubt that it's possible to use VPN on a TV.

Best advice I can give you is that you send an email to Samsung/Eurosport where you could say that you moved to Sweden from UK and you would like to know if you are able to watch Eurosport Nordic channels through the app.
