I have always wondered why CBS dont do a whole revamp of the house is there a reason why they dont bother? apart from changing the paint, doors and some furniture.

I think they should at least sound proof the rooms so the HM dont always have to whisper and i think with a revamp they could include alot more twists inside the house.

Because it has become tradition. Part of the BB experience now is that house. Dan wrote his initials on almost all the beds so future housemates would see and it has just become a fixture of the show. I think people would be disappointed if they changed the house now after so long.

I guess they just don't want to spend the money. And if people are used to something they can get away with it because people have inertia and will defend something even if it can be improved. It's the same with the veto not being shown on the feed and not being shown till Wednesay. One thing with the house that annoys me too is the HoH room never changes it always looks the same with just some pictures being different for each person. The DR is always the same as well.

Because they're being cheap. BBUS is a very cheap show to run and the lower they keep the costs, the better for their bottom line. BBAU has a really nice house.

It changed between BB5 and BB6. The old house was quite cute in its simplicity. I guess when it comes to it it's not really necessary, but it'd be nice to see a new house each year.
