I gave up in 2011 after Ronnie left! I occasionally tune in if its something big like Kat's lover being revealed, Xmas 2012, Tanya leaving, Janine returning, Sharon's return last year.

Should I become a regular EE viewer? Am I missing much? I don't watch it but read some spoilers and I know Ronnie's back soon and that is the only thing getting me to tune back in.

But is it worth me getting back into EE atm? Surely with all these new characters coming in, Robbie's return, Jack and Michael's exits coming in it can't be as bad as it was back in 2011/12?

No you aren't missing out on much at all, and I only ever watch it these days if there is going to be a special such as an explosion or a car crash! (Some here might call me a freak of some kind for saying that! )

Yes, watch it when Ronnie and David come back, and the New EP will soon be in charge, the show will get better!

I really wouldn't bother watching until the moronic Lorraine Newman episodes have come to an end.

I haven't watched it consistently this year at all. I did have a look on Monday but it was just the same old tired show. I feel sad about this as I have watched the show from the beginning.

I will watch again when Ronnie and David return.

Hmm. By reading the comments it looks as if EE is still not back on track! I think I'll start watching again when David and Ronnie come back. Does anyone know when the new producer's episodes will be on air? Also which one is the new producer? Is he the one to comment on most of the revealed episodes, the skinnyish one?

Same here. I've watched EastEnders since it began I've never known it to be as bad as this. I've gone weeks without watching a single episode, then I've switched on and the same old crap is being churned out. It's like I've not missed anything at all.

Oh right! He seems very passionate about the show so hopefully it will be left in safe hands. Maybe I shouldn't jinx it as I thought it was in safe hands when Brian Kirkwood left but nope!

I also said the same thing when Lucy Allan took charge of HO!

The overall quality isn't good, but you may as well tune in to get warmed up for Ronnie's return. Sadie is easy on the eye also.

No. Boycott it.

One day they'll scrap it and replace it with something less depressing, better acted, and less predictable.

Until then, as soon as I hear that dreary miserable theme tune, the telly goes off.
