my pug
merrybiscuit

has just gone in for emergency surgery on his eye (fairly common in the breed) they are giving him a graft to cover an ulcer.

my other dog (a cross) is now behaving oddly and keeps shaking.

i've also got a 6 month old baby and due to me administering eye drops to the pug for 24 hours hourly i've had no sleep.

i love my dogs and feel really sad right now. just wanted a little support, at least he's mot losing his eye.

Awww sounds like you are all having a bit of a horrid time. I am sure little pullet will be fine I have seen dogs recover from this very well, and you other dog will be fine once puglet returns, (I have one who cries building up to a scream when separated from her sister so know how they miss each other). Sleep deprivation is the worst isn't it, but hopefully you can get a few minutes later in the day ?

yeah we got told he would eventually need an operation but it just seems so quick.

my other dog is shaking (more than usual) and barking at anything! like she's on guard.

i brought her into the living room in the crate so she's not alone.

we are also having to cancel our much needed holiday because of his recovery - they said its about 4-6 weeks. i'm hoping we'll just postpone it. so i'n waiting for the kennels to get back to me about the charge incurred. as it was the end of august its not bad. but its not covered on the insurance.

my mind is just goung 50 miles an hour lol
