Samsung 32F6400 Picture problem
v8james
09-08-2013
I am very happy with the picture quality of my new TV, but frequently the edges of moving objects go jagged when I use my Sky HD box. This is fixed by changing my Sky box from 720p to 1080i or vice versa. I have changed the HDMI cable and reset the TV settings but it still happens.

Is there a fix for this problem???

Thanks

You should have the box set to either 1080i or Auto, there's no reason to ever use 720P (which is wrong 100% of the time - no 720P programmes).

Also turn off all spurious picture processing options on the TV.

Apart from that, it's down to excessive compression used by the broadcasters.
