My guess is that all EPL games will be broadcast again from the 1st of february when only those with official and registered smartcard/set-top box will be able to watch the channels 6HD to 15HD

I heard from someone that his card is valid until the end of May so he thinks it wont happen until next season now

those without paired card/set-topbox will only be able to see the first 5 HD channels and my take is that they will broadcast the EPL on the others.

Via a smart DNS, it's been working fine up until this weekend.

it's ridicolous really and please do not blame this on dns providers because it can not be their fault.

But it's working absolutely fine for me. Without dns. It HAS to be the dns service

What exactly is it that's wrong for you?

Was working perfectly for me yesterday - best yet - but channel 11 not working well today. At first that issue returned where it kept jumping back in time, then when that stopped the stream would freeze every now and then.

Quick question .

does New Zelaned PLP service work with smart dns ?
i remeber once when i entered i got a geo block , no it lets me login. 90usd for the season not bad.

Super Sports - dead cheap , but no one actually recommends it. can be used with smart dns?

NBC Extra - can be purchased ?

Thanks

Watched most of the City match and all of the Liverpool match without any issues... so yes, I will blame the DNS providers because it can be their fault.

PLP - as far as I'm aware, yes.

SuperSport - Never heard of anybody using it to stream their matches because I'm guessing you need additional authentication by way of viewing card or satellite sub info. Massive broadcaster though... the South African equivalent of Al Jazeera when it comes to sports coverage.

NBC Sports Live Extra - it's included at no extra charge so long as NBC Sports Network is in your cable or satellite TV package. You login to the site with your TV provider account details so unless you have (or know somebody who has) a US cable TV subscription, you're out of luck.

Unless you can find a vpn that is middle east based and is not oversubscribed dont bother with beinsports if you want just the premier league go to premierleaguepass and use smart dns.It really does not matter what is causing these issues the fact is that they are they and there is very little anyone can do about it apart from the vpn route, lets face the middle east does not have the best internet structure so finding a reliable vpn is not going to be easy.

Agree with the above. It's the only way they can possibly have the extra games re-instated by the PL. That is of course, unless the upcoming tender has any hidden surprises for international broadcast. Wouldn't put it past them after the trouble they've had with revoking full 3pm access to MENA and a few European countries this season.

I'm pretty sure there are many variations in quality of network infrastructure in the Middle East as there is with anywhere else! There is more money in the region than probably anywhere else so I don't buy that! There are very reliable vpn services in MENA and bein works perfectly with them.

Not as if that's a ridiculously broad remark or anything!

The Middle East is such a massive area, obviously you'll get areas with better infrastructure than others. The same can be said for broadband access in the UK - believe it or not, there are still plenty of places than get minuscule speeds and not anywhere in sight of the fibre rollout plans - the fact we're still at low penetration for fibre in the UK screams that we're not exactly leading the way in broadband ourselves!

I can get a 10Mbps broadband connection just as easy as I can get a 100Mbps broadband connection from providers in the Middle East.

Its nothing to do with money its internet infrastructure and censorship don`t forget that in many countries in the region vpn`s are actually illegal here is an example of the average speed in the area internet speed in the middle east also compared to vpn services in the USA and Europe vpn servers are far to slow mass use.

Your welcome to your opinion and so am i my statement was based on the average speed in each country in the region I did not say it was impossible to find a vpn server that can offer higher speeds but its not the norm.

Those speeds quoted in the link you provided are for ADSL connections. I can find places in the UK with ridiculously low speeds of 1Mbps the same way I can find households in neighbouring towns and cities with fibre connections at 100Mbps downloads - and it's the same in the Middle Eastern countries.

The UK is hardly leading the way in terms of average ADSL speeds - I think it currently stands at around 14Mbps. Means we're behind the UAE with their average 15.20 Mbps straight off the bat. Any comparison of this sort is way too vague because it's nigh on impossible to accurately gauge!
