Has anybody experience with airparrot (or same kind of software)? If iPad isnt getting support for AirPlay, im consider to buy Google tv and with airparrot i can Mirror AJS games from normal PC wirelessly to Apple tv. Will it work or will the framerate be low? I did send email to AJS to get more info from AirPlay and hdmi support. If both of those arent to get update support, im back with pc to tv -scenario.
AJS did answer my question about overplay and hdmi support: "Our service does not support any TV platform, only computers and the mobile, tablet devices promoted in our APPS page. The audio channel is supported on regular computer browsers only." My present setup isnt working well and streaming quality is horrible (old HD ready tv, thats isnt handling my pc's hdmi 1080p signal, actually 10m hdmi Chord wont even work anymore). Maeby airparrot with Google tv is the answer. |

Just to add fuel to the fire...
Win 8.1 supports Miracast which means you will be able to stream from Win 8.1 to a Miracast enabled device such as http://www.maplin.co.uk/netgear-push...adapter-788248 (this also works with Miracast™ certified Smartphone such as Sony Xperia, Samsung Galaxy S3 & S4, HTC One, Google™ Nexus 4, LG Optimus G). Rumours are you will be able to stream from Win 8.1 to the XBox One. |

I see these on the website, but on the iPhone app I'm now only seeing News, Global, 1, 2 and +1 to +10.... although
+10 is showing HD6, +9 is showing HD1, +8 is showing HD2, +7 is showing HD3, +6 is showing HD5, +5 is showing HD4, and +1 to +4 are showing those channels. All a bit confusing really. |

US or Japan?
Basically, it is what project kangaroo was supposed to be for the UK. Think of it also like Netflix, but with all the latest US episodes of TV shows a few hours after they air, rather than the older material. Full review can be found here |

![]() I get the same quality on my HTPC. HTPC Specs: Windows 7 64bit / Internet Explorer 32bit AMD A4-5300 3.40Ghz, 8GB RAM with integrated AMD Radeon HD 7480D. Not a single problem with the quality, there's no judder or anything.. Also I have both DNS's in use, if I only use one, quality goes up and down. |

Whats your CPU % usage in task manager? As it goes off this too!
So I have plenty of bandwidth, CPU & memory to spare. I'm on an Acer V3 571G which is 64bit, using Chrome (32bit) in Windows8. IE8 gives me very similar results. |

Currently am running on Windows 8 64-bit. How do I get 32-bit browsers such as Chrome or Firefox? All of my browsers are installed automatically into 64-bit. Running on Flash 11 as well.

Mine is staying there too, on an 8mb wireless connection. Are you on Wifi or ethernet? I wonder if it cares about the adapter speed at all?

The Germany and France bit from Overplay is actually related to their Zattoo service. Zattoo, are a bit like FilmOn or TVCatchup in that they offer live TV channels (BBC, ITV etc). If you set your Overplay locale to France or Germany, it will force those channels only, though if you just have it set to the US or somewhere else, it will have all Zattoo channels available. (Normally, Zattoo is go-restricted as well) At least that is what I believe. Japan is for Hulu. Not that it switches the library between US Hulu and Japan, but people who have a Japanese Hulu account would have been locked out if they were forced to the US library as they don't have access to it. Hulu is amazing by the way, but that is a bit off topic here so I apologize now. |

So... are the HD channels at the same quality as what you would get with Sky Sports HD if you plugged in your laptop into the tv via hdmi?
Maybe I should try it for a month and find out but if someone who has sky sports hd and this comment on the difference in PQ? I'm currently on BT Infinity @ approx 50mb. Is that good enough to get the 4000 stream? |

What settings can we toggle? My video fluctuates around 250-300kbps and I'm on 150mbps Fibre.
What I would like to do is manually change the bit rate, like you can with Silverlight videos, such as Netflix. But I don't think this is possible with Flash

For a month at $19 (about £12) it isn't a lot to gamble. If you do like it you can cancel Sky and pay for a whole season what Sky would charge you for 2 months. If you don't like it, stick with Sky and the schedules they impose.

hi all,
I'm still getting the HD stream at around 320kBps ~ 2500 kbps The quality is pretty good but a little bit pixelated at the start of a new scene or fast moving actions. I thinks it's normal with their encodage at 320kBps. @spede_tee: can you double check that your stream is at 650kBps ? @all_who_wanna_check_the_bandwidth: you can use Networx to check your bandwitdth in real time. insafon. |

Not a great deal. Right click on the video, only two setting to play with. Then maybe your computer setting graphics card, browser settings etc.

But I don't think this is possible with Flash ![]() 1) Unified player version: 1.8.9.9 2) Toggle performance monitor 3) Settings 4) Global Settings 5) About adobe flash CPU: 15% and memory at 17%. |

While it's still pretty good I am not sure I could watch 4 games a weekend, it'd begin to annoy me after a while. It beats me why they can't use HTML5. Pity there is no AJS app on my Samsung Blu-ray

This is the reply I got from AJ Quote:
Hi , In other words, there is very little we can do at this end. AJ need to boost the percentage of bandwidth it allows us to use. I don't think the auto bandwidth selector is being very generous, and under estimating what ISP is capable of
Thanks for your email. The quality of the stream largely depends on the connection speed you receive from your Internet Service Provider. We provide the stream at various speeds which will pick up from your broadband speed along with the processor speed of your computer. Please make sure you are using the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and have this set as your default media player, you can download it for free via the following link In order to download the latest flash player please visit the following site: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ We use an adaptive player on our website and applications. This automatically selects the best possible quality for you. We incorporate live adaptive streaming when available, so will always provide you with the best quality video available depending on your internet connection. Please remember that broadband connections are shared by location. This is known as the Contention Ratio. If many people in your area have the same Internet Service Provider then you will be sharing the connection with them. For this reason it may be better to view clips at a lower quality (speed) than normal to reduce the buffering breaks. Although ISPs advertise various speeds for their broadband service, these are maximum speeds and are not always achieved. The routing chosen by your ISP to reach our servers can also have an effect on the stream. The more hubs that the stream passes though, the more likely is there to be a degradation of the video displayed. It may improve the situation if you disconnect from the internet completely then re-connect to get a different routing. You can test your current speed here http://www.speedtest.net/ To save bandwidth, turn off any other browser windows that are open and close other applications that use the internet. Close as many other applications as possible to save RAM. If your speed is sufficient and you are still experiencing interrupted playback you can test your broadband line by going to www.pingtest.net Best Regards, Customer Services ALJAZEERASPORT.TV |
