I would avoid overplay for PLP and wouldn't want to be using a VPN especially with 4500kbps streams, use https://hola.org/ to register then a smartdns for the stream - WARNING make sure you remove it when done, the free version lets other people use your connection as a proxy
Click the fireball icon, enter address change server to Taiwan and it should work.
hola won't help for people who want to watch on iOS or Android, or use AirPlay to watch easily on the big screen TV, or use PLP's dedicated Samsung Smart TV app.

OverPlay's Smart DNS will, and you don't need to worry about all that other security issues about sharing a connection like you do with hola.

Yeah I should of been clearer, hola is just so you can subscribe with the Taiwan pricing (without paying for a VPN) You can't use it to watch streams, for that you need SmartDNS (prefered) or a VPN
I have a 3 month subscription to overplay but it is rubbish for the PLP site hardly ever loads. I've tried unotelly and it all loads instantly, so I'm going to try get at least a partial refund from overplay.

Wish I knew about that,

Taiwan prices http://puu.sh/aGVoI/d27a24dd07.png

Season Pass $49.00 USD/Annual/includes tax
Season Pass Monthly $5.00 USD/Monthly/includes tax
Week Pass $2.99 USD/7 Days/includes tax

Edit: I did notice Overplay SmartDNS can be very slow for the PLP site, unotelly trial works fine so I think I'll switch.
So are you saying you can sign up via the Taiwan site, but then access the NZ site to watch the games?

I haven't actually tried it, I signed up as a NZ user (and paid about 3x more)
If it helps I can sign into the Taiwan site with my NZ account so I don't expect there to be any problems, although I suppose if they wanted they could flag Taiwan accounts using the NZ site but that applies to any of the providers Star/Bein.
There doesn't seem to be a different sites for each account you just receive different pricing.

Ok, thanks.

This is pretty huge. Especially if you can log into the NZ site.

I have tried this with the Taiwan site and paid for the one week subscription for $2.99. Payment went through on my Barclays card and it works. I can log into the New Zealand site too.

At the moment , I'm just waiting till the premier league starts to decide.
I will be checking out Bein Sports, Star Sports India, Premier League Pass and NBC Sports Live extra which I have a login for to watch on an IPAD since they already have all the games for next week Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th and Monday 18th August listed on their schedule. I'm just not sure of the quality of the streams so I'll wait and see and compare all 4.

Wow. that's a steal. Well it's Taiwan and these are emerging markets. They obviously can't sell at the New Zealand price. Hope the Taiwan pricing doesn't change for a while so I don't end up biting my fingers.

I used Hola extension on google chrome. Selected Taiwan as country in the Hola Settings and typed premierleaguepass.com. I couldn't access the site with a VPN as well.

It's the same URL, you just need to geoshift to Taiwan! The website recognises that you are in Taiwan.

I have tried using Unotelly, but it isn't working. What is the next best DNS to use?

With PLP and unotelly, I found the "Shows & Highlights" didn't work but watching the recaps of full matches worked.

Using Hola I started off using NZ, then when the site loaded, I then shifted to Taiwan, it then kept the site open, and I hit the subscribe button and did the rest.

I have a worrying feeling this season I may end up having subscribed to Sky Sports, BT Sports, BeIN Sports (and potentially PLP if the quality is as good as people make out to be).

This is extremely worrying for my wallet.
