If you play your cards right you can actually get beinsports and plp for £10 a month
That would be amazing

Anything has to be better than Mash Up streams on XBMC. A bit of judder is preferable to spending much of the first half searching for a working stream.

Let's be honest they allow anyone from anywhere to sign up. They could easily stop
outside viewers by restricting sign ups to local cards and addresses.

Once you have subscribed using Hola you need to remove it and switch to a smart dns service, I'd try a unotelly.com trial.

It seems you only need the vpn (or dns) to load the website- flowing that you can access content without it. Well I can anyway!

Agree they are all just out to make money as long as they have taken reasonable steps to secure the service I don't think they care where the money comes from.
I even registered with a UK billing address the only incorrect detail I gave was the phone number.

Gotta say, whilst the resolution of PLP is great, it's still juddery. I'd much rather have a lower res, smooth playing stream. Shame really. Bargain at £29 for the season now I've moved to Taiwan!

I think Bein has to be the best service on offer. They show almost everything.

Just tried PLP via the hdmi adaptor for the iphone 5 and on a 40inch tv it plays superbly, very smooth (prob the same if you airplay it with Apple TV)

Can you not just lower the res then....

While I agree about the judder, I think I just need to get my head out of the "true HD" mindset and into the "I can watch every PL game if I wanted to this season for £29" one.

On the Bein mobile app, the following streams play in bad quality, then just stop. When you click the play button it says "this video cannot be played"

7, 12HD for example goes to HD after a few seconds.

Thankyou,

Unotelly works great

I use unblock us so no Star Sports for me (yet).

Quickly set myself up a NZ iTunes account and grabbed the PLP app so I'm all set for the season now.

Anyone got a link to the latest PLP android app?
It seems to be locked to Samsung devices.

You shouldn't have a problem with judder. PLP played super smooth for me via HDMI and Airplay last season. In terms of the picture quality and smoothness, it was streets ahead of the competition... And that's not even mentioning that they were able to show all the PL games last season.
I'll definitely be getting PLP and Starsports this season, and I also have access to some other sky channels too, if I want a dose of Sky Sports News or other channels not available here, in Denmark

Well I've tried changing various settings and browsers with Firefox being the absolute worst, but I'm still getting the judder. Only the slightest mind you, but still.

But....

I found that when using the PLP app on my iPad and Airplaying it to the TV that way I found the picture to be fine.

Now obviously come matchday I'd expect it to be a lot busier so if anyone could give me some tips as to how to sort this when connected via HDMI it would be appreciated. This is me with a Macbook Pro Retina alongside a 42" LG 1080p HDTV.

Use Internet Explorer as your browser.

For mew, Chrome has stuttering but IE is perfect.
I'd imagine Firefox also has similar problems to Chrome

Yep, same here. Season pass for £29!
Just wondering, has the payment cleared for you yet? I've been checking my online banking since I made the payment and nothing has come out relating to PLP.

I'm guessing that as I can view the content the payment has gone through but you can never be too sure about these things....

I used my regular VISA debit card for what it's worth.

I'm using a Macbook so can't use IE.
