Load up the PLP page without your VPN on. This should direct you to the NZ page (assuming you already have a smart DNS service.) Then flick your VPN on, reload the page and hit "subscribe." That should do the trick.

Interesting article on EPL international rights and how much they are sold for....
http://issuu.com/henleymedia/docs/pr...254810/5233623 NZ brings in very little in the grand scheme of things. |

Mee too... That's a bit weird... How is it detecting you've not in Taiwan (or NZ/Philippines) via VPN? There is a risk that, if they can shutdown Hola's access to the PLP site, there will be no other way of accessing the PLP Taiwan stream (I think) if your Taiwan login doesn't work on the NZ site.

If not then PLP are losing out on some serious cash here. |

wow. ends up to about £21.90. Their discount code will not work if you haven't subscribed to any of their packages previously.

hmm interesting. I thought as much that the broadcast rights fee for New Zealand is miles lower than that of other territories.
If the market was bigger, the fee paid to the PL would be bigger, because there would be more demand and Sky NZ would have (probably) bid more, as would PLP if they wanted to secure them... Simple economics. |

Did you subscribe last season?
If not then PLP are losing out on some serious cash here. PLP have offered a code to people who had accounts last year. They set the criteria as to who would be eligible will (almost certainly) have calculated this in their business models. As for us (the Digital Spy crew) signing up to the Taiwanese sub as a posed to the NZ sub, that's still additional income to PLP. Last year, very, very few people from here subbed to PLP because it was (relatively speaking) expensive and an unknown quantity, so they'll be making more out of us, but still a very small amount. PLP has paid $2.5m/3 years= $0.83m. That's about £500k per season. Without calculating for tax, fixed costs, etc. they need to sell 5000 full priced subs to break even, out a population of 4.5m... If they can't do that, they need to have a long hard look at themselves! There are many, many football fans over there, let alone the expat community. The only people who will "cost PLP money" are would be subscribers from NZ, who haven't subscribed already, and will discover the new Taiwanese/Philipino options and know how to use Hola/a VPN to access them... That number is TINY!!! Let's all stop with this nonsense about them losing money. We're helping them, not making them lose money. The people who are losing in this scenario are BEin, as the general consensus appears to be that they are less favoured this season (so far.) |

Payment went through-small transaction fee which took it up to a nice even £30. Happy days.
Do we think the ipad app will get an update to show the new fixtures anytime soon? |

This might have been covered already, but is it possible to watch PLP with Unotelly using a NOW tv box? I've got a box I simply won't use, may as well take advantage if I can.
Will almost certainly be sorting out Unotelly and PLP-NZ during the midweek, should imagine plenty will. As for Taiwan, I think it's a bit too much of a gamble whereas we know NZ will work without problems. |

Good find on the code! £20 for The season! Now that's definitely the best deal out there for HD footy! Without a doubt. Particularly if 30fps arrives!

will there be any Premiere League Live Football on beinsports online?
If I look on livesports.com there are just channels like beIN Sports INA 1 listed? Also Championship today will be broadcasted over such a channel... |

I believe bein 13 and 14 streams are direct from France and I may be proved wrong but I believe these are streams from two of the BEIN SPORT FRANCE channels ( Bein Sport Max)
