The way they just described next Saturday, beIN are only showing the West Ham/Spurs game at 3pm.

Any ideas appreciated..”

Try experimenting between 50/60hz in your res output on ATV. I think 50hz was slightly smoother but test where a goal kick is taken and the camera pans and compare yourself.

Just heard that as well. Definitively sounds like they only have 1 3pm game like the end of last season.
For those who didn't see, they showed the matches they are showing for Saturday with only West Ham vs Tottenham at 3pm and said something along the lines of and our 3pm game is...

If that's the case, there'll be a lot of annoyed BeIn subscribers.
They clearly have the rights to show all 380 PL games but, until they sort their security issues out, it doesn't look like the Premier League will let them.

Just been streaming the Shield game via my iPad and Airplay. Quality was definitely SD quality but certainly watchable.

Are we really surprised perhaps it would explain the online price reduction

Hi

I bought a subscription to BEin sports for all of last season on my iphone.

Obviously I'd provided an Egyptian apple I.d etc to get the app.
I've just gone to subscribe for this full season through the BEin sport app on iphone whilst logged in with my Egyptian apple I.d and it said as this was the first time I've made a purchase of a subscription through this device I needed to login with my Egyptian apple I.d and answer my two security questions. I'm pretty sure I never set security questions because I write down every step in setting all of this up last year and would not have failed to record answers to security questions.

Thing is I can't subscribe without answering them and only other option it says is to get apple customer services to contact me (Egypt branch I assume !)
All getting very complicated and I OBVIOUSLY don't want to have to verify my Egyptian identity over the phone.

I'm sure there's a solution but at this moment I'm bit worried this stops me subscribing ?

Maybe it would be possible to subscribe through windows laptop then just login out/in on my BEin sports iphone app ?
Bit worried about trying that only to find it doesn't work on iphone without the verification leaving me to watch my subscription through windows laptop, which is rubbish.

Any help appreciated.

i watched both the Liverpool and man city - arsenal games on Bein sport today and it cut out about 5 times - saying something like "token expired"
i had to refresh page and it was fine again - why was it happening ?
cant be having stream cut out in middle of a game !

with this recent news that Bein will only show one sat 3pm i will be using PLP for most of my viewing .
but cutting out mid game is not acceptable .

using "unotelly" and Chrome .

I had the same issue. Tokened out twice. Still better than XBMC but glad I have cheap PLP.

I like Bein. Useful for non Prem League stuff, but will keep to month to month subs just in case.

Check out www.watchbein.com for how to subscribe via their website

Bein is far and away the best for variety of sport . the amount of live stuff they show is incredible and well worth my Sub fee . but it was annoying that it tokened out a few times . i don't support any of the teams i watched so i didn't really mind but i imagine if it was my team playing i would be a bit more miffed.

anyhow i got PLP as backup and i know for a fact when i was watching Cardiff the other day it didn't token out once .

I think it's better to subscribe through the website. Then you can login on your iPhone with a username and password. it's even cheaper than using the app.

I notice that Bein's listings stop just before the Prem 3pm kick offs. LJ Sport on TV has three games listed for Bein next Sat in the 3pm slot.

I'd imagine they will be negotiating with the league up until then. Then they can bring live goals alongside the main game on 11HD.

I noticed around 12 am last night bein sports wasn't working, bringing up the ego blocked message on both PC and ipad . I have checked this morning and it,s working.
I seem to be having trouble with the latest version of bein sports app on the ipad and iPhone. The programme schedule is wrong most of the time so I end up having to check on the PC.
I uninstalled the new version and installed an old version and found out the schedule is correct and the live streams tend to load faster ( version 1.2). Bein need to fix this.
But I must say with my experience with bein yesterday that's it's miles better on the PC.
I missed the first half of the community shield match. I was able to rewind back to the beginning and even the previous program. I also missed the Chelsea preseason game which had finished 2 hours before I opened the bein web page and I was able to rewind to the beginning of the match. Why is this feature not on the bein app. StarSports has a similar feature with their LIVE PRO Timeline. If only bein will air all premier league matches, I'll say it's more value for money.

PLP is coming up as geoblocked on my macbook using Unblock Us this morning.

EDIT: nothing to see here - I used a new ethernet port and had to change the DNS settings. All good now.

I noticed yesterday that the beIN iOS app is two hours out - so, not wrong as such, just showing the wrong time zone I guess. Can't see a way of rectifying this though...?

Just a quick question to the more tech savvy
I'm streaming from my iphone beinsports through a Egyptian vpn once it starts I can go into my vpn and turn it off while beinsports is still playing , so does that mean it's streaming through my normal broadband speed and not the vpn

Like watching 4 games at once? Totally pointless.

I was thinking more of the menus and scrolling panels scattered all over the screen that are just confusing. It also means there are about a dozen ways of doing the same thing - not necessary! Might be ok if they could get something simple like the timings correct...

At least the streams work well and are smooth, which is the main thing of course.
