Yup, Samsung and PLP did a deal. They said no one else was interested and Samsung built the app for them in return for exclusivity, including the Android app.

Just bought a toshiba one last saturday lol

Nobody has. The packages haven't been released yet!
Last season, the packages weren't released until mid September, so that may happen again.

It's possible that your bank may have flagged it as unusual activity and have frozen the funds. I'd give them a ring in the morning and see does that resolve the issue.

Ahh, thanks. I did called up my bank, they just said its pending and has no indication of fraudulent. How long did it take for you guys to receive the orientation pack?

Purchased my pass on Saturday, got the confirmation email pretty much straight away and have been able to login and watch last season and the other programmes. Haven't seen any orientation pack, but not bothered about it.
Bank statement finally shows the transaction $36.75 = £21.88 + 60p non sterling fee.

Yeah likewise here.

I do received the confirmation email of the subscription and am able to watch last season's final match and other highlights. Just a tad worried that PLP states CC invalid whenever i update my billing options, but my bank has 'set aside' the $ for payment. Lol.

Just got an email from PLP stating that they are offering 20 hours free this weekend!
I think you choose the weekly sub to get your free trial.

Do you lose your current picture settings on the tv when you do this.I've got a 2013 model which can be changed but don't want to lose picture settings
No, as long as you don't change any of the other settings during the process, you won't lose anything. Where there are settings for things like retuning, ignore them and head straight to the "next" button. If you do it properly, you won't mess anything else up.

Afterwards, the only difference on your TV is that the smart hub is a different country, and when you want to return to the UK smart hub, you can do so easily again.

So far from my experience, web, iPad (not iPhone) and the Samsung Smart Hub.

The best video quality I have seen has so far been the Samsung Smart Hub, ever so slightly followed by iPad to TV via AirPlay.

Web would be next, but can be jerky, even when using the better browsers.

Haven't tried Android yet, but I suspect it will be like the iPhone and reduced quality.

Is there specific way I should install this?

The last version I tried from this link just installed a different app called AppEggs Market and nothing else. That app could link me to the Google Play store app for PLP, but that is no help as that won't download as it says I have no compatible devices.

This one seems to work. Installed it, and saw the plp starting screen...due to not having installed a vpn service on my phone, I cannot test it further.

Hmmm, tried it and same problem. It just installs this other egg app. Does yours just install PLP?

I agree. iPad had easily been the best experience in terms of picture quality. I was watching the season preview and was amazed at how good it was. This will be my preferred method of watching provided the streams hold up.

Hi all. click on the download link below not the one on the left side of the page. you will need to have a file management software like es downloader from the playstore and select the option to save using that instead. You can also download to your computer and copy to the android device. The name of the file is neulion.......apk. it's actually a Samsung version but it works anyway.

That is the file I am getting, but all I get is this AppEggs Market. There is no option on my Android device to save using any other software or open using any other software. No matter what I do, I just get this other app installed.

I've been using DNS services for 3 years and VPNs for even longer. The fact of the matter is, for some services, VPNs can be more reliable than DNS services. They can also be more widely used, on a variety of "foreign" services.
no the fact of the matter is DNS is faster than a VPN purely on the way they operate.
if you`re using the service for watching online streaming then a DNS service is going to be better .
