Does Starsports work with a smartdns or do you need a VPN?

I got an error message about payment (not the exact same as above but i cant remember what it actually said) however the transaction seems to have gone through fine, I used my normal debit card whilst filling out the credit card section and choosing visa

Haha, you're going all out aren't you?

In answer to your question? Nope.

Was doing research about this over the weekend. PLP themselves have to enable the background play setting in the app. As it stands you just have to leave the iPad on and make sure the sleep setting is set to never.

For starsports, do I just enter my uk address details? Or does it need to be from a specific area?

As BMox said.

For some odd reason, some broadcasters don't like the idea of the device being used for anything else. I have no idea why, as it can perfectly do so. The BBC for instance allow full multitasking, so the iPad can be used for any other purpose (other than watching other videos of course) and even switched off.

The amazing Zattoo app also allows this (which is why it is so damn amazing), but so many developers don't.

Weird.

Well I tried again and got through - went through the debit card page, and think I must have got the same message as you. Looking at my account page it says completed and that I've got the package.

Have you received an email from them regarding your invoice?

Personally I'd save yourself some money and get the Acer w4 Win 8 tablet, wireless
mouse and HDMI lead.

You can run both Bein/PLP and another service simultaneously in different windows and use the browser to TV out services blocked on tablets. I found that overplay on
the tablet will automatically switch DNS settings on a network whereas you
have to change them manually on each network on ios.

Thanks i think you might be right i was only interested in apple as apps like plp seem to output at the full 4500 on android i think its only 1200 for the life of me i don`t understand that i do have dedicated pc connected to my tv via hdmi but flash playback is juddery to say the least sadly im a bit of a perfectionist.Hopefully this will improve when they show live events

Could be PC setup. I tried out PLP via HDMI and was pure HD quality. Outed at 3000
for me. The real test of course will be this weekend during live streams.

I'm running on IE 11 under Win 8.1

No. Unless you jailbreak and install an app forces it to run in the background.

3000 was the MAX offered on the stream for me. I'm in Europe currently so will try when I return home where my speeds are faster.

To be fair it's still a world better than Mash Up streams and a lot cheaper than
giving Dish $80 a month.

So I've bought the PLP subscription and I can play it with my iPod Touch. I can airplay the shows (e.g. 2014/15 preview show) to my XBMC device but when I try to airplay the matches to my XBMC device, it just automatically pauses itself on the iPod and refuses to work.

Any fixes/ ideas why guys? Thanks!
