Yeap. the file is called com.neulion.android.plp.apk but when I install it, only AppEggs is installed. It asks if I want to install the app, I say yes, (no options are given to install with a different app), then it asks if I want to open the app, and at that point the new eggapp opens but no PLP.

I've just tested a workaround but it's probably more hassle than it's worth instead of just using a HDMI cable + laptop. Anyways, install a web browser addon in your XBMC like chromium, then change XBMC's DNS settings and then start the Chromium browser from within XBMC, plug in a USB mouse and keyboard, and just go to the website and play.

Yeap, that sorted it. Thanks! Any idea what was up with the other versions? Perhaps there some sort of malware on my tablet?

Anyway, seeing the max stream of 1600kbps.
