It's on PLP's side. The iPhone is more than capable of airplaying at higher rates.

Netflix for instance allows their iPhone app to stream at around 4000kbps, and Zattoo, which is probably closer to PLP as they specialize in live streams, will stream the BBC at 3200kbps from the iPhone (the same as all their platforms).

I have subscriptions to the 3 providers people are talking about so a quick review

Granted I havent seen any live streams yet on starsports to see the quality, however the quality of the archived broadcasts seems very good, as good as bein Id say but not quite to PLP level (which is very high quality) Id compare them by saying bein and star sports seem like "720 HD" and PLP is like "1080" - thats nothing to do with actual definition of the picture, just a illustration in terms of difference in quality.

I like Beins coverage of all sports, even though a lot of it is in foreign language, so if youre interested in all around sports then Id go with them even though its a little more expensive, but still a bargain compared to US/UK packages.
If you just want BPL then the best seems to be PLP in terms of quality, and the price is pretty good too.
If you want the best bargain then its starsports, its BPL only but £4 for the season you cant go wrong.

Not at home to test it, but surely you can go through the control panel on your IDevice and select airplay from there no?

I had to airplay-mirror for the whole of last season... It wasn't ideal to be honest. I don't think they'll implement it anytime soon. Anyone know what video format they use? Is it mp4? If not, I believe the stream would need to be transcoded on your phone...

Up to Rs1000 (less than £10) now... Still incredible value if you ask me.

So you can not change the commentary language in the BeIn ios app.Is there a good flash browser for bein on the ipad? I can change the language on my samsung tablet in the browser but screen mirroring is not airplay.Thanks.

Just signed up for PLP, bit concerned that I might have been billed twice as I thought it didn't work first time due to an 'error', but when I tried again it said I already ordered that product, so I should be ok.

Streaming quality is magnificent, really looking forward to see it on Saturday.

My only remaining concern is this 'orientation pack'...

Yes i have it on my samsung smart tv and it is great! Just wait and see what this orientation pack is.

Tried to purchase starsports this morning when it was 400r and I dont think the payment has gone through. Its listed twice it the 'My Orders' section once saying rejected and again saying In progress.

Should I try again?

I tried 4 payment cards before one got accepted. Seems allot of credit card companies are rejecting the payments.

Suggest contacting your bank informing them that it is indeed you spending your money. Likely held incase of fraud.

Might not be related but after signing up yesterday to Starsport Nationwide blocked my debit card and rejected the payment. Might be worth checking with your card provider to ensure your card hasn't been blocked.

I contacted them right after the second time (btw, although their payment website said the payment didn't go through, i checked my credit card, i WAS charged).
ofc, they've said to contact them again when my credit card clears the charges (meaning the transaction id appears, and from whom i've bought) and they'll be happy to refund me.
