koplord: never got airplay to XBMC to work for live streams last year. Log files did indicate a DRM issue so I bought an AppleTV instead. Pretty much replaced the Pi completely.

I'm not using a smartdns, am using a vpn. Didn't think it would matter though.

Safari is a bit of a joke at times. I've tried Safari, Chrome and Firefox on PPL (I'm using a Mac) and Safari is unreliable at best. I often getting the spinning circle and it never plays the video, but the other 2 browsers are normally fine.

Safari is all over the place. Totally unreliable. One day it plays PLP and the next it doesn't want to know. Just use Chrome or Firefox and you should be fine.

I have been lurking in this thread for a while and finally decided to sign up. I managed to get plp using the Taiwan price and I also have beIN sports.

Quick question, I am running an android mx2, dual core box with a smart dns. PLP works fine but am having a few issues with beIN and I keep getting the "can't watch this video" error message. I am using v 3.1.1 on the android box. The same app works on my android phone but not on the box, any ideas? anyone else running beIN sports on an android tv box?

Clearing all app data has made it work. I had to login again

I will try that, I have had absolutely no problems watching the beIN sports app on my mobile phone, which is android, I am currently watching the FC Porto game. The mx2 android 4.2 box however has been a different story!

Been keenly lurking on this forum looking forward to tomorrow. All goes well I have my existing access to NBC Sports Live Extra that I get with a US Comcast Xfinity account I pay for and also giving PLP a go with the free trial.

Unless PLP blows me away I'll probs stick with NBC, although all the NBC match highlights I've watched so far had this really intrusive banner ad accross the top in full screen. The native Windows 8 app for NBC doesnt seem to have that though so hoping I'll be fine.

NBC is good too but plp's bitrate is higher. I have access to NBC Sports as well . PLP Runs the premier league world feed commentary in English which starsports runs as well. NBC on the other hand runs American commentary quite often.

I can but I don't think flex is the solution. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I can airplay Starsports on apple tv 3 without the flex tweak . I have my region set to US and setup a unotelly smartdns in the network settings.What are you guys experiencing when you try to airplay starsports ?

I'm on PLP + unblockus, was having judder previously. Then I went to my laptop's power settings and changed it from "energy saving" to "performance". Now it seems to be much smoother!

beIN just confirmed that they'll be showing one match of the 3pm kick-offs due to the PL administration regulations (apparently not everything is sorted out, regarding the secure broadcast stuff).

btw, a beIN official stated that beIN will start showing all saturday 3pm kickoffs at November, around week 10 of the PL.

The only way I can airplay Starsports to my AppleTV3, is to mirror the screen, which produces a stuttery, mediocre image on-screen.
When you say Flex is not "the solution," what do you mean? Is the image produced poor or is there some other problem?

Alternatively, if you know of any guides on the subject that might be interesting to investigate further?

On Android Minix , Got the PLP app 4.08.11 when i start any video i get "no currently video , try again later" on Website it works.

Any idea ? is this the latest version ?

Using PLP and unotelly I can stream fine using Firefox, but on Chrome it comes up with a connection error. Any particular reason for this? I have disabled Pepperflash.
