Someone more techy can probably add more detail to this, but basically Flash is quite a memory intensive application. Some of the buffering / speed / blurring images can be caused by the lack of graphics processing power, so on a shared chipset allowing more processing power to flash and the rest of the PC should keep the stream more stable.
I think this is how it works. I'm sure someone can correct / improve.
